Hogan agrees that the Impact Zone makes TNA look "Small Time"

Hulk Hogan replied to a fan on Twitter saying that the Impact Zone “comes off as minor league” with agreement. The fan was complimenting Impact Wrestling and noted the “only problem.”

The fan wrote to Hogan, “You guys have really stepped up your game. Great job. Only problem is the small ‘arena’ comes off as minor league. Major turnoff,” to which Hogan replied, “Yo brother you hit the nail on the head ,that is always the main topic when we talk to Dixie or Spike TV,still trying. HH”

I always felt it makes it feel different and stand out from WWE, but there are so many other things they do that accomplish that perfectly. If they left the IZ I wouldn't mind, but that crowd's gotten so good over there that I don't really want them to leave, believe it or not.

Until they gather up a bigger audience, then I think it's smart to stay there. This isn't a knock on TNA, but the reason it looks small time is because TNA technically still is 'small time.'

The only problem with leaving the IZ is they are blueberries and take their show to places that they don't draw crowds in. If they would stick to going to places like Texas where they are wrestling starved or the Northeast or Canada where they always turn out for a good product they would maybe get by with it.

Like Rainman said though I've grown to appreciate the IZ, they are a pretty good crowd most nights.

I can't believe this is the first time Hulk Hogan acknowledged that the Impact Zone makes TNA look like the minor leagues.. I completely agree with Dolph'sZiggler. If they want to actually want to travel to other cities and states, then go to places that never get WWE or ROH there.

That's true, too. Also, it hurts their case that all the washed-up WWE stars go there. And they have a terrible creative team for storylines.....

At the moment, TNA is so far behind WWE in name recognition alone that them feeling "small time" is a foregone conclusion. It's not something they should worry about until they stop doing 1.1's (ADVERTISE DAMN YOU)

When TNA was in Knoxville, the crowd was pretty good here. Hope they aren't afraid to come back after the Lockdown catastrophe.

Definitely. Even smarks care. TNA as soon as it's on looks small time. Unless you're the fan - like most smarks are - that strictly care about nicely written storylines and great matches then TNA really screams "We're in the small leagues".

I like to compare it to NXT (new NXT). They're also in a small arena but you don't care because of how nice everything looks around it and how good the commentary team are. TNA looks poor and sounds poor, but everything else is pretty much spot on now'adays. Put it in a larger arena (or different arenas) and change the commentary and you have real competition to WWE.
