like have a picture of some1 and have them de-saturated but have their jersey or hat colored??????

- Open up your picture
- Duplicate the original layer of your picture
- Select the original layer (bottom layer) and press CTRL+SHFT+U in other words desaturate the layer. (Nothing seems to happen because another layer is at the top)
- Go to the above layer (the duplicated one)
- Apply a layer mask > Layers > Layer Mask > Hide all
- Press "D" to set your background and foreground colors to default black and white respectively.
- With a round bold headed brush, air brush or any other one that are there... do brushing over the parts that you want to see in color, like the jersey that you're talking about.
- Press CTRL+E in other words Merge down
- Save your image with any format
