If Survivor Series did nothing else tonight, it pretty blatantly pointed out the next crop of guys that WWE has their eyes on as the future of the company. Those guys obviously being Miz, Sheamus, Drew, Kofi and Morrison.

Miz, Sheamus, and Drew stood dominant and tall at the end of their Survivor Series match, and although he took a pin Morrison still came out looking strong, putting up a flurry that almost seemed would be enough to secure a victory.
And of course we all saw Kofi's outing at the PPV, who pinned both CM Punk and Randy Orton within 5 seconds.
Honorable mention also goes to Christian who also had Orton beat at one point in the match.

So, what's the feeling around here about WWE possibly setting the stage for their future stars at this year's Survivor Series?

I think that outside from Kofi Kingston, it really isn't THAT big. I mean, Drew and Sheamus have been pinning people left and right already, what they gained tonight is getting showcased to a PPV crowd, with for some reason always ignores new guys, but it didn't really tell us anything we didn't know, these guys are getting pushed.

Interesting part is how WWE let us know they are now above Swagger and Ziggler in priority.

I was going to point that out as well. It seems like Swagger and Ziggler were kind of lost in the shuffle of this one. Especially the way Swagger has been booked on RAW lately.

And yeah, we already knew they were going to be pushed but it was great to see them getting a decisive win on a major PPV, instead of pinning jobbers every week.

Indeed. Let's see how they follow up with these guys though. Not much would have been accomplished if they dont push them against more over rivals. Bourne for Sheamus and Hardy for McIntyre plz.

Is Masters a face now? If so I wouldnt mind seeing him in a program with Sheamus. I think Bourne/Miz would draw also

re: Masters.... Has ANYTHING actually happened to suggest this apart from him shakin' his tits for Ozzy?

maybe how the crowd cheers for him every week when he moves his tits.

He did it for the first time 3 TV shows ago, wasn't at the UK Raw and I missed this weeks show...

So, by "EVERY" week, you mean just this week so far?

I only remember The Bellas bringing Ricky Hatton out to the ring.

Maybe I was pissing or something... So what, he basically appeared during a backstage skit... Flexed his tits and got another pop?

...So, any of ya'll think that if he'd have shown off this talent to the top brass in WWE earlier that he'd already be a multi-time world champ by now? LOL

i still don't see Kofi Kingston as a Serious Main Eventer Yet.

Kofi may of Pinned Orton/Punk in Series match, But I still he will get a Pinfall Victory over Randy Orton in a singles Match in Kofi still young and early Career.

I say Kofi is just on the Verge as Being Build up as a Serious MITB Winner Contender at the moment and nothing else more. (while IMO Morrison will pby win MITB)

Bottom line is that follow up is key with all of this. As CMS said... all of these guys need to follow this up with a REAL feud, not squashing local jobbers.
I don't want to see Sheamus locked in a month and a half feud with King now. (although I'm sure we will)
And can we actually come up with a face contender for Miz's title please? Turn Swagger face, because at this point Bourne who's been crushed by Swagger at like 6 times doesn't look credible. Or, capitalize on the new arrival of Burchill.

i say do Miz Vs Swagger Vs Bourne for TLC and saviour Miz Vs Swagger for Royal Rumble 2010. I won't mind the miz/swagger thang going for 2-3 more months.

MVP and Mark henry are 2 other contenders for Miz, Unless some How Miz turns Face and feuds with a Member of Legacy or Sheamus.

another idea would be to have RAW/ECW interactive feuds. Miz Vs Yoshi Tatsu or Miz Vs Christian Or Miz Vs Shelton Benjamin. I wouldnt want Christian to job to Miz tho.

As said above. They got a good push on a PPV and they looked great last night. But thats all well and good, But they need to follow it up now with credible feuds/Story lines. We have seen to much lately of stars start to get pushed and then bang, fuck all happens and they drop back down to nowhere and nothing comes of it examples Swagger, MVP, Punk to a certain degree. WWE has a great opportunity now to build on last night for all these newbies and create some future ME stars. I'm not saying they will be Main eventing in 2 weeks or anything close to that. But they do have a solid base to start building a foundation for them in the future. We can but hope and see what happens, Tonight show should be a good indication off whats they may be doing with them.

I think the way the Miz/Morrison Match ended is just to keep the 'undefeateds' unblemished in Sheamus and McIntyre as well as having the captain Miz win.

The Kofi thing was definitely a huge sign that management sees him as the future. I'm glad they are doing something like this with somebody but Kofi would not have been my first pick.

It seems like the upcoming few months and into Wrestlemania will show the pushing of young stars actually up the card. IMO it kind of opens the option for a Morrison or Kofi Kingston to 'shock the world' and win the Royal Rumble. There is no clear cut prediction like there is usually every year around this time. I think the only clear prediction for this year's Royal Rumble is a young star that is being pushed.
