HHH and Benoit - Where would they have fit in during the invasion angle?

Trips was missing with the quad injury whilst Benoit had issues with his neck so how would these have fit into the WWF vs The Alliance? For me HHH as the dominant heel alliance leader, teaming in with Stephanie and Shane would have worked better than the man who was known to hate WCW in Austin. Benoit is more of an enigma, I guess he would have replaced Show in the match but beyond that I don't know where he would slot in.

I've always seen Triple H as the guy who would have been leading team WWF. I don't think they would turned Austin face again yet, and they could have easily turned Triple H face the night after Wrestlemania 17 (listen to his reaction when he slapped the coffee out of Vince's hand backstage), and Benoit most likely would have turned heel with team Alliance.
