He-Man Movie Discussion

I recently posted a thread on a ThunderCats movie, but to me it is minute compared to this.

There are plans for a He-Man Movie as well. It's be planned for over 5 or 6 years.

It's rumored to be released December 2019



If they are going to make it dark toned they should get the makers of 300 or Clash of the Titans to do it.

It was rumored for Mike O'Hearn to play as He-Man. But he said he wasn't officially casted yet.

It'd be awesome they did the Movie. And in a Sequel they cross over with DCEU and do a He-Man vs Superman Movie. But I highly doubt that will happen.

How do you guys feel on a He-Man Movie, what's your dream cast, etc.

Remember the last He-Man movie? That went well didn't it. Also, if this remake was more like Conan was then it wouldn't be too bad, but again I hate animated movies being turned into Live-Action as well.

Truly this makes me wish Disney would take this over. Since they are the only ones so far that makes live action cartoons good.

Now...

I know who I would be picking to direct a new He-Man film...and it would be...
Guillermo Del Toro.

If anyone could take the "Master of the Universe" and make them successful
on the big screen...it would be Del Toro.

Just imagine something like his Hellboy films...set in Middle Earth...with the
dark edge of Mimic or Pan's Labyrinth...it would be perfect.

Also here is a video that may prove interesting...even with it being more than

Also...can we get a Dino-Riders film?

Does anyone else here remember/know of Dino-Riders?

Those toys were fucking incredible!

Maybe that's were the Jurassic Park franchise is heading?

Can Del Toro as make/direct that film as well?
