In an interview with Chicago's Q101 alternative rock station yesterday, Shawn Michaels, 43, said he think next year's Wrestlemania will be his last. "The Heartbreak Kid" said his WWE contract will expire after the show and he wants to be around more for his children. Michaels said he thinks he'll come back to wrestling at some point, but when his kids are teenagers and don't want to hang around him anymore.

-- In an interview with Sirius Satellite Radio's Drive This show yesterday, WWE Hall of Famer "Mean Gene" Okerlund said Bobby Heenan is in Houston for WrestleMania weekend.

-- While signing autographs and meeting fans at last night's WrestleMania Axxess event in Houston, Candice Michelle was spotted wearing her medical boot, which should confirm that her ankle injury has yet to fully heal (she was also seen wearing the boot a few weeks ago at a GoDaddy.com event). As a result, she won't be competing in tomorrow night's 25-Diva Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXV. Two weeks ago, her picture was pulled from the WWE television graphic promoting the match.

-- As reported earlier, former WWE Diva Nidia Guenard was spotted at a WWE function in Houston on Thursday. She lives in the city and it is believed that was simply visiting friends rather than coming in for the 25-Diva Battle Royal at WrestleMania, reports The Sun. The first Tough Enough champion hasn't been active in wrestling for years and had a baby in 2007.

Edit: For his retirement match at next Mania, I'd love to see him face Edge or Orton. The two best heels in WWE, and it'd be a great match... They'll probably do the whole retirement angle for him like they did for Flair, but I'd like to see a match vs a top heel.

It says his contract will expire after next WM and that the next one will be his last not this one.

Fuck, good call.
I have to say I'm officially the worst person at reading in a rush. Whenever I do, I miss something key.

Trips will go for for a while yet, he'll quit after he's beaten Ric's title record

Eh, HBK probably doesn't have alot left in his tank anyway. He has been going strong ever since his comeback, 7 years, but there was his little break in 2007. I am surprised he has gone this long.

He's surprised a lot of people. Still one of the more entertaining guys on the roster when he's at his best, so it will be a shame when he's gone.

Maybe thay could ask HBK to do special appearances in Texas that would be it but after Wrestlemania 26 its bye bye to him part o me will die because he is amazing and if I ever train I will want to be like him in someways.

Damn, he's only 43? I guess that's fairly old, but still, I thought he was older lol.

The sad part is, his final match is going to be against Triple H.

WWE has got to get more guys to fill the voids of the big guys leaving next year. First the Batista report, then the Kane, now HBK, probably more that I've missed.

It really is sad to think that just about everyone our generation grew up on won't be around for too much longer. Rock and Austin are gone. HBK will be hone next year. I'm sure it'll be the same story with Taker. I'de honestly be shocked if we see him last until next Mania. HHH is about to...or already has turned 40 so who knows how much longer he'll be around.
As for who HBK's last opponent should be at Mania that really is a tough one. I would have to agree with Mike and saw perhaps one of the top heels in Edge or Orton....more so Orton though.
