IMO, Jeff has to lose tonight, otherwise you destroy this little bit of steam you've given Matt. TBH, I could see them putting Jeff on the "injured" list for a few months to sell his return and try to cost Matt in whatever he's doing at the time. It would give Matt even more heat anyways, and would boost Jeff upon his return. Have the two run into each other when Jeff is healthy, and let 'em brawl one last time. They could put on another spot-fest, and both still be boosted if/when Jeff wins that match.

Do you all see them killing the feud and Matt's recent heat tonight?

I agree. Jeff can bounce back from a loss, because then it has the crowd feeling sorry for him.
Matt losing would give him zero credibility. He could always go the route of "Jeff got lucky" etc, etc, but if they're serious about a long-term push, winning is the best option.

Yeah matt got fucked over big time. And if they had to kill his momentum, Jeff may aswell done the swanton off the ladder that would have been better move to finish with than leg drop.

Well guess who guessed wrong there?

The match was alright i guess, wasn't that exciting. The ending saved the match some boring chants.

The thing that pissed me off is that Matt could have just fucking rolled himself and the table over.

Who guessed what? I just insisted it would be dumb to kill off the heat Matt Hardy has been picking up recently, which they kind of did tonight. Sure he could redeem himself if the E is smart, but I mean... it's Matt Hardy. He needs to go over the top to get some heat back now.

The thing that pissed me off is that Matt could have just fucking rolled himself and the table over.

Precisely!

Matt saying "I quit" is a clear indication that Matt WILL have a premature departure and EARLY RETIREMENT from the WWE, leaving Jeff as the SOLE and SUPERIOR Hardy of wrestling. The WWE will give Jeff a new deal to sign to ensure that Jeff remains in the WWE and DOMINATE the Main Event scene as they NEED to prolong the Jeff Hardy Era. Law and Order in the Universe can only be balanced when Jeff is the Lone Hardy of Wrestling.

These 'laws' don't happen to include illegal drug use do they?
