Happy 35 Years Street Fighter!

My God does time fly by or what? 35 years of Street Fighter greatness has gone by and I've enjoyed every moment playing their Games over the Years. I'm turning 34 in three Weeks and Street Fighter 2 especially takes me back to being a little kid playing at the Arcade or at Home with friends. At one point I remember being 7 or 8 and winning a SF 2 Tourney in a Pool Haul where clearly a kid like me shouldn't be in but my Dad told me the prize of a Trophy and Pokemon Cards on the line and I didn't back down for sure. Funny I was the only kid in the tourney shows how popular Pokemon was at the time when Adults are fighting for that Prize. Cammy, Chun Li, Ryu were the 3 I would go through in Games and you get to a point of Muscle memory kicking in during Games if you've played long enough.

35 strong Years for Street Fighter and it's Franchise and I hope we get another 35 more to come and hopefully a Movie or TV Show that kills please!​

I loved Street Fighter Alpha 3! I would play Dan Hibiki frequently, even though my friends considered him a weak character. Capcom vs. SNK 2 for the Playstation 2 was an iconic game. Shin Akuma gave me fits.

It's come a long way since Fighting Street... and it's been years since I played some Street Fighter II. I shall dig it out in August when the actual Birthday goes down.

I would put MK 2 in that discussion as well. I was watching that Doc I posted last night and I didn't know a lady created the Music for SF 2. I do remember loving Blanka's Music as the fight went on the Music's pace would go up telling you to handle your business and beat your opponent.

Don't worry my Mother one time performed a Fatality on me in MK 2 when I was a kid button mashing. Mash it up!

Mk2 defo is a gem I agree, I was less into it but it's easily the best one and we played that shit til our fingers were sore on my neighbors Sega

I sucked at it when I was a kid. When I became an adult, I would go into training mode to practice the special moves.
