Halo 4 Gets an Official Release Date

Microsoft Studios and 343 Industries have announced via the Halo Waypoint that Halo 4 will be releasing worldwide this fall on November 6th, 2012. To help you remember this date, the characters of Red Vs Blue (re-imagined in the Halo 4 universe) have devised some highly complex mathematical equations to make sure that you remember not to forget (Video in read more) It’s noteworthy that November 6th is, historically, the day that games within the Call of Duty franchise release. This means Halo 4 could very well be going right up against Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Halo 4 and Black Ops 2 sharing the same release date time-frame would be interesting to see who will get more sales. I'll probably pick up both games but Black Ops 2 will outsell it considering all the CoD fanboys even though CoD has been pretty much the same game with a few tweaks for the past 5 years and it coming out on all platforms unlike Halo which is just out on 360. The armor on that video looks pretty cool so Halo 4 will be fun imo.
