As you may or may not know, one of the greatest metal bands of all-time is coming out with a Guitar Hero game. It's release is next Sunday, the 29th. It is probably going to sell a ton of copies, and could possibly the best-selling Guitar Hero game. Here is the setlist from the game:

Metallica

"All Nightmare Long"
"Battery"
"Broken Beat & Scarred"
"Creeping Death"
"Cyanide"
"Disposable Heroes"
"Dyers Eve"
"Enter Sandman"
"Fade To Black"
"Fight Fire With Fire"
"For Whom The Bell Tolls"
"Frantic"
"Fuel"
"Hit The Lights"
"King Nothing"
"Master of Puppets"
"Mercyful Fate" (Medley)
"My Apocalypse"
"No Leaf Clover"
"Nothing Else Matters"
"One"
"Orion"
"Sad But True"
"Seek & Destroy"
"The Memory Remains"
"The Shortest Straw"
"The Thing That Should Not Be"
"The Unforgiven"
"Welcome Home (Sanitarium)"
"Wherever I May Roam"
"Whiplash"

Other Artists

"No Excuses" by Alice In Chains
"Turn The Page" by Bob Seger
"Albatross" by Corrosion of Conformity
"Am I Evil?" by Diamond Head
"Stacked Actors" by Foo Fighters
"Hell Bent For Leather" by Judas Priest
"Demon Cleaner" by Kyuss
"Tuesdays Gone" by Lynyrd Skynyrd
"Beautiful Mourning" by Machine Head
"Blood And Thunder" by Mastodon
"Evil" by Mercyful Fate
"Armed and Ready" by Michael Schenker Group
"Ace of Spades" by Motorhead
"Stone Cold Crazy" by Queen
"Mother of Mercy" by Samhain
"War Ensemble" by Slayer
"Mommy's Little Monster" by Social Distortion
"War Inside My Head" by Suicidal Tendencies
"Toxicity" by System of a Down
"Black River" by The Sword
"The Boys Are Back in Town" by Thin Lizzy

If you have purchased the Death Magnetic album off of Xbox Live or PSN for GH3 or World Tour, you can use them ALL in full in the game.

There is a demo on XBL for the game, featuring Sad But True and Seek and Destroy by Metallica, also including Stone Cold Crazy by Queen and No Excuses by Alice In Chains.

It's going to be a damn good game, especially with the new Expert + difficulty for drums, including the use of a double kick pedal. It will possibly give you permanent leg damage, but it's worth it :)

So who here plans on getting this game? I plan on it, because my birthday is next Thursday the 26th of March, and any money I get will definitely put towards this. Who else plans on getting it? If anyone here gets it and has a 360 also with XBL, add me if you'd like and we can play co-op or band fun (my GT is ARC Wordlife326)

Lemme know what you guys think!! :D

World Tour >

I prefer variety tbh.

That's the reason I hate World Tour.....that and there were like 10 songs that were on Rockband 2 also (which I don't know who to blame for that, so I blame them both).

This is the last one I'm getting, unless the next band profile is actually good. But I can't think of anyone as big as Metallica and Aerosmith that would actually be good.

^yeah I agree.. but Metallica to me, and by sales, is way better than Aerosmith. That game actually kinda sucked imo, and this one will be way better

Agreed, GH Aerosmith sucked so much ass.

Can't wait for Metallica to come out so I can get my Guitar Negro on!

thats pretty cool commercial. pretty funny. anyways, Chuck you have it for 360, I'm hoping someone got it for PS3. Could people who have this game answer a question for me. Can you play it with just a controller, Instead of a guitar? And for that matter can you do the drums with a controller as well? I'd like an answer from both a PS3 and 360 if possible. If someone could try it. Oh and same questions for GH World Tour as well. I'll rep. Just curious cause we have this dumb ass customer who tries to return everything. And that was what he was bitching about today. Not that the answer matters because he can't return it once he opens it anyways, just curious.

I know you could for GH2 on PS2 and 360. It was even an achievement to play with the reg controller. So I don't see why you wouldn't be able to on the new ones. I'll try it after I'm done watching RAW.

yes I know you can do it with all previous guitar hero's prior to World Tour. I would like to know if it still holds true for World Tour and Metallica

Nope. If you try to use a regular controller, it asks you to plug in a microphone or a headset to do vocals. That is a plus though...you can use the standard headset mic as a mic in the game.
