James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Begins Production

Following the recent casting of Will Poulter as fan-favorite Marvel hero Adam Warlock, Guardians of Galaxy star Chris Pratt took to Twitter to reveal that production on James Gunn’s long-awaited third installment has finally begun, after four years since the premiere of the sequel. Despite Marvel Studios’ recent release date delays on other MCU films, Gunn has confirmed that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will still be keeping its May 5, 2023 theatrical release date as planned.

Some of the stuff that has been confirmed by Gunn :
-Gamora is at the center of the movie.
-There should be a new team after this movie if they go for a fourth one.
-The Sovereign and Ayesha are back and will be linked to Adam Warlock obviously.
-Stallone's character Stakar Ogord is back.
-The movie will explore Rocket Raccoon's origins.
-This will take place after Thor 4 and Chris Hemsworth hasn't been confirmed. Expect a cameo or nothing.
-The Guardian of the Galaxy's Holiday Special on Disney+ is important to the plot and thus should be watched beforehand.
-Gunn said the script is very emotional, Klementieff and Gillan said they cried while reading it.

Yeah I can't wait for this movie. The Guardians went from zeros to heroes because of James Gunn so I'm sure he'll go all out for his final movie.

Definitely one of my favourite Marvel movies easily. Really enjoyed the Guardians movies. The chemistry between the cast is top notch, it's my favourite Chris Pratt role outside of Parks & Rec.

I've been waiting all my life for Warlock to join the party can't wait to see him kick some ass.

Someone has to go in this and after watching the Christmas special involving the GOTG Crew I say it's Mantis. Rocket second option of course as they diving into his life story further in this one.
