Well.. if you started and stopped in the 360 days then...there is ALOT..i will break it down for ya. Get ready for alot of reading lol.
1 - CEO and Biker Gangs
So probably the best center peice of all the new additions is the CEO and Biker Gangs, they are key to majority of the activitys you will be doing in GTA Online, they give you acces to other businesses such as Vehicle warehouse were you steal and sell vehicles, also known as vehicle cargo, there is a storage facility where you get various shipments to sell and a special vehicle warehouse, all of this is directly with the CEO office you can buy all around Los Santos, notably other businesses are tied to CEO such as getting a Weapons Workshop, a Hanger, a Nightclub, and a Arcade, notably the biker gang is simuler but it has its own businessess such as making weed, making meth, counterfet cash, and ilegal documents.
For all of these businessess you have to supply them, those supplys turn into stock that you can sell for money, you can also buy upgrades which allow those businesses to be better at getting supplies faster and being worth more money aswell as security to prevent raids, which is a random event depending on how filled your stock is.
Also with Biker Gangs if you own Motorcycles you can call them instantly, which si very handy.
This is basicly the core of GTA Online and is what you will spend most of your time doing most likely.
2 - Other Businesses
Ofcourse some buisnesses opperate a little bit differently and vary in difficulty, the weapons for instance and the Hanger are best done with a group but you can do them solo, the Nightclub gets stock over time but you have to keep the popularity up through various missions, its more of a passive money making thing, the Arcade is simuler but as a much bigger use i will get into later.
Also you cannot do CEO and Biker Gang things in a solo lobby, you have to be in a public session, if you are lucky (or find methods online) you can glitch yourself a solo public lobby to make doing these mission easier, as chances are a player may try to kill you during your missions and mess up your progress with whatever you are doing.
3 - Vehicles and Weapons
The landscape of GTAV Online changed a long time ago as new Vehicles and Weapons were added, the Oppresser Mk2 is one of the most overpowered Vehicles in the game, why? its a flying motorcycle with rockets attached that can lock on, and if that isnt worse there is other crazy vehicles aswell, armored vehicles with all sorts of guns, not to mention to crazy normal weapons like the atomizer which is basicly a force push alien gun, there are other silly guns aswell, so always be prepared when you are in a lobby, you never know when a Oppreser is gonna coe out of nowhere and blow you up, or in some random cases, be friends, which is rare but ya never know. There is also the scramjet which is a rocket powered care also with missles but is less frequent, Jetpacks, and very powerful helicopters.
Vehicles are also important for your businesses, mobile operation centers and the terebyte truck let you operate your businesses on the road and some offer other benefits.
4 - VIP Work
This is something you do not need CEO or a Biker Gang to do, it lets you do a few jobs immediately and get around 20K for each one, sightseer is the easiest, complete a hacking minigame and find the suitcase, do that 3 times within the time limit and you win, super easy, though if you arent CEO or are in a Biker Gang then there is a longer cooldown and a limit on how long you can do these missions, but once you get a CEO office or Biker Gang you can do them as much as you want, but there is still a small 5 to 8 minute cooldown. They are a great way to get quick cash.
5 - Stunt Races, Arena Wars, and more.
These are some of the more fun ways to earn money, Stunt races are what they sound like, crazy races on fun tracks, some ar elike Nascar, some have all sorts of insane jumps and tunnels and all sorts of stuff, and more often then not Rockstar has these with double or even triple money rewards so you can earn a ton fo money very fast, plus they are just fun.
Arena wars is like a Deathrace where you gotta soemtimes kill the other players in fun ways, or complete certain challenges, less of a race and mroe of just wacky crazy fun.
There are plenty of other vehicle based activitys and its alsways worth doing when its double money.
6 - The Diamond Casino
One of the biggest additions to this game si the Diamond Casino and resort! buy chips and play slot machines 3 card poker or blackjack and more, There si a wheel spin you can do once a day to earn anything from up to 50k or the showcase car! sometiems clothes or RP. And if you have enough money you can buy your own penthouse which as tons of options for custimization, even your own personal table and the ability to bet at the high stakes tables in the casino.
And now for the biggiest one of them all.
7 - Heists
Heists are easily the biggest addition to the game, but they also require multiple people to do, well most atleast, there are alot of heists, Majority require atleast 4 people and require you to pay and do the setup missions with friends, and then the finale, some requir you to buy other buisnesses to get it started, The arcade is one of the recent ones where you get to rob the diamond casino i just mentioned above, and whats great about the casino is you can do the setup missions ALONE! and for the finale you need atleast 2 people.
The heists are no joke, atleast in terms of difficulty, they are hard, believe me on that and mroe often then not if you dont get a dedicated group of 4 to help you out they may leave, also the pay isnt exactly great, in the time you could do a heist you could earn the same through everything else i listed above, but they are undoubtably fun to do.
SPECIAL PC SPECIFIC ACTIVITY
-The RP Server-
PC has a very special GTAV online server which the users of said server basicly roleplay within it, either as normal everyday citizens of los santos, as criminals or even firefighters doctors police you name it! it is a huge thing in the PC community and is incredibly fun as ive heard! And if you are into that sort of thing, i highly recommend looking into it and checking it out!
