GSP Sees Bright Future For Dan Hardy

St-Pierre was recently asked to give his thoughts on “The Outlaw” and set the bar pretty high in terms of the potential he sees in the 30-year old Brit.

“Dan can come back and be a champion in the future. He has been underrated by a lot of guys,” explained St-Pierre to ESPN. “He’s better than what his last few fights have shown. Maybe he lost confidence but he came back very strong in his last fight. Dwayne Ludwig is a very scary guy to fight and he knocked him out standing up in a striking fight.


“I know how dangerous Dan is because I’ve fought with him and I’ve trained with him and he is very, very good,” GSP concluded.

I think GSP is just being polite here. Hardy is a good striker with stopping power, but he needs to develop his wrestling more especially seeing as the Welterweight division is wrestler heavy.

GSP is a very nice and respectable guy. The chances of anything being said negatively in public by him is pretty slim. I mean he dominated his fight against Hardy. Hardy has been on the decline. But yeah that is GSP being GSP. I mean he is the guy that had a real tight kimura locked in on Hardy but let it go when Hardy wouldn't tap rather than break his arm.
