Also, those were the times before Cena, Orton, and Batista.... in my opinion that alone makes it the best time!

I don't mind Cena, Orton, and Batista so much. As long as they play their roles well (and they usually do), they're fine. In fact, Cena and Orton are two of the best in the business over the last decade. In fact, both have improved markedly over the last two or three years. I truly don't understand the hate either guy gets.

College for me round 98-00 where a PPV would consist of going mine or my mates gaff. Bout 5 of us for beers, pizza and chilling. Great times with zero cares in the world before things became life and real.

Did watch some AE stuff, but was really young and don't remember much so won't count those. :p So while there's been better and more buzzworthy times in recent wrestling history (since 2008, with stuff like the Summer of Punk and 2012 TNA), I'd have to say I'm enjoying wrestling more this year than any time in the last few years. Having the right mindset helps a lot, and the right guys getting pushed doesn't hurt, either.

Still miss Punk, though.

I don't dwell on the past. Sure, in essence, I'm a nWo/AE guy, but I enjoy modern wrestling tremendously as well. Although, not WWE, obviously, it's been a downhill for me ever since the Punk/Hardy rivalry ended. That's when I stopped watching the product, unless someone pimps a match or two. And Raw? Heh, that's shit's been unwatchable since 2002.

However, I've enjoyed a great amount of pimped matches this year: Cesaro's stuff with Zayn, Cena and Orton, Bryan/Boreton, the three Shield/Wyatts matches and that Sheamus & Christian vs. Real Americans tag. First time in years, and we're only in May. It helps that I don't watch regularly.
