I went with Gunther when he went against Eddie, so I'll go with him here over Eddie and Punk.

like I dislike Punk, love Eddie but what feuds and matches make Gunther legendary (i know of his Mcyntire match iirc). I just dont think Gunther has the resume compared to these two, I think it's very much a "in the spotlight now" thing. Gunther is a great worker I just don't personally believe he is on Punk or Eddies level. he's prob one of the best hosses ever tho

I actually went Charles Montgomery Punk because

1) This being strictly based off the 21st century, Eddie doesn’t have the longevity

And 2) I really wasn’t familiar with Walter/Gunther til NXT UK. I had heard of him but hadn’t seen much of him.

If this were all time, my vote would’ve gone to Eddie.

Just a personal opinion but he can do any style of wrestling and still looks better. Nobody has outclassed him in WWE. I mean Eddie was great , doubt about it. Now you've got me questioning myself, Jeff in regards to him being better than Eddie but I never called him legendary. I said he's just that good. He looks great, got in the best shape of career and hasn't put weight back on , which is tough considering how busy the Schedule is in WWE. He's put on banger after banger. Sami Feud when he was IC champ was great. His matches with Priest were good sure the Summerslam one was I thought.

When someone like Undertaker holds in high regard I listen. He praises him consistently.

Just I'm a huge Taker fan since my youth, used to try to copy the eye roll as kid and can now but took years . He's on my Mount Rushmore With Stone Cold, Rock, Hogan going my favourite of all time.

I'd slightly put him over Eddie for longevity purposes maybe but of these three it's pretty obviously Punk for me anyway so I didn't even think about Gunther vs Eddie that hard anyway lol

Yeah if I take only 00s and take my haters off, I think even with the time off ...punk has legendary promos n matches pre n post "retirement". Gunther is dope n I'm glad he's getting his flowers.

That being said not gonna complain too much at punker getting snubbed lel

If I were to entertain Gunther over Punk it would have to be on like pure presence. Punk was just a guy that kept getting opportunities bc he was a good talker on and off camera and it eventually paid off big.

Even when Gunther was Walter and had pink hair he was still presented as a fucking monster and still has some all time matches before coming to WWE, it's like he was never at any sort of lower card level at all
