Great Khali Injured By Henry

WWE has written The Great Khali off TV following the stretcher job after an attack from World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry on last Friday’s SmackDown. They posted the following on their website last night:

“WWE.com has learned that The Great Khali has suffered a fractured fibula following a brutal attack by World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry on SmackDown Friday night.

Dr. Michael Sampson confirmed the devastating injury to The Punjabi Giant and that the fracture was very similar to the injuries suffered by both Big Show and Kane at the hands of The World’s Strongest Champion.

The injury occurred moments after Mark Henry impressively secured a victory against The Great Khali following the World’s Strongest Slam. Wrapping a steel chair around the Punjabi Superstar’s leg, Henry ascended the ropes and brought all of his weight down on his opponent’s leg. Writhing in pain and unable to stand on his own, the fallen giant was tended to by medical technicians and taken out of the arena on a cart.â€￾

So Henry has now "injured" Kane, Big Show and Khali the three biggest guys on the roster. Great for his character and it allows those three to rest up for a bit and get some time off. Khali out of the ring is a good thing so hopefully he doesn't return until the Royal Rumble.

Khali is kayfabed injured because he's filming some Indian movie. He wanted time off and it looks like he isn't resigning once his contract is ending.

This could be a good way to use Mahal and actually push him (As if that'd happen, he lost to Santino)

But you get what I mean, they should push Mahal because he can speak Punjabi.

Rumor is that Kali is retiring but WWE are going to keep him for films

Good news that Khali won't be back in the ring. Plus WWE can use this in the Henry storyline saying that Henry retired Khali.

I wish this would lead to something for Jinder Mahal but they have buried him again which sucks.
