I'm leaving...

After a majority ruled that they want to continue seeing childish, garbage posts be made by Tgmiveld it's time for me to take my leave. I have made a few friends and I will come back and message them and stay up to date.. but I will no longer contribute to a forum that doesn't want to be taken seriously. Joking is fine.. cursing is fine.. but when a person is as ignorant and asinine as Tgmiveld is, when a forum is constantly disrupted by a single person and that person is supported in doing so then it is obvious that the maturity level is not there and I don't fit in with immature people who think that making fun of a person's fucked up view of the world is a funny thing.

@Solidus good luck with the forum.. most people don't understand that you've made a financial investment in this place and I can see you every day trying to make it better.. I just hope that eventually you surround yourself with people who share the goal of making this place better as well.

I love most of you guys, I love this place and I will miss it but this place has been ruined for me and it's time to walk away.

Good luck to everyone... when Tgmiveld is finally permanently banned then I will return and start to contribute once more to the forum to try and build it back up.

You are a great member and it is a shame to see you leave here. Everyone has their own tolerance to other people. So I understand that. For me, I would have just ignored him (put him on the ignore list) then you wouldn't see anything he posted. You have the right to your own opinion like everyone else, but I feel this could have been handled without you having to leave. If people start getting banned simply for posting their opinions (even if they make little to no sense) that defeats the purpose of a forum community. The Locker Room is an area where things like this slide because it is just an area to have fun with, discuss interests, talk about sports, news ect. Threads get closed when they cross the line and members get warned as well. The forum's line just happens to not be where yours is :/

If I were to take everything offensive said about me, I would have banned quite a few members by now. (*cough*D'Z*cough*) but I simply learned to let that stuff go. It's not worth letting other people ruin something you enjoy. As for the reputation of the forum based on posts and members, let Solidus worry about that. He knows what he is doing. I try to be unbiased as possible and understanding of the people around me and there circumstances.
