I have't seen the Batista matches since they happened in 2007 did you say? So I don't remember, but I wouldn't have liked it enough to forget how much I didn't scare for Taker by that point.

I'm about 60/40 on ring work and characters myself but I also don't really hate much in wrestling bc I can be entertained by anything

To me wrestling was always about telling a story. The character IS the wrestling. Guys flipping and doing moves without telling a story means nothing to me.

We're talking in the chat, so I'm not working on the OP at all right now. And I don't know, not much. I'm just perfecting the intro story. It's hard to setup such a weird concept with two days to build, but I think it'll do in a pinch.

So I don't need Undertaker doing whatever wows people in 2009 to be interesting. I just need him to not be that character that was so awful IMO. But that's just me. I know this is extremely unpopular. I've met very few who agreed Taker was boring after 2004.

Deadman character didnt start getting stale to me until that Kane feud in 2010 and he was basically a part time guy after that

That honestly doesn't help either. I think that actually made my opinion on him worse because he kept coming back once a year to get put over and I've slowly started resenting him. I marked more than I think anyone else when Brock beat him.
