fightline.com said:The Nevada Attorney General's office has informed Gabriel Gonzaga that his appeal request has been denied. Gonzaga was fighting a knockout loss to Travis Browne earlier this month.
"While we disagree and are disappointed with the commission's decision, we respect it," said Marco Alvan, trainer and manager for Gonzaga, in an interview with MMAjunkie.com. "Gonzaga would rather settle things in the cage with Travis if the UFC gives him the opportunity."
Gonzaga (14-7) believed the elbows Browne (14-1-1) hammered down on him were illegal. The loss dropped the former No. 1 contender to 10-6 inside the Octagon.
Quite honestly, I didn't think anything controversial of the loss and I saw it cleanly on TV. Some appeals are kind of stupid now a days :/
