Welcome to the Fantasy Wrestling Alliance, more often known as the FWA. The FWA is a fed that has been alive for seventeen years plus, and has lived across three forums. It started out on a forum called PWS and lived there between 2005 and 2013. After PWS Forums went down in October 2013, the FWA moved to WrestlingClique, and has now moved to WrestlingSmarks as of 2022 after the closure of WC.

1. The Rules of the FWA

We don't have a thread explaining our OOC behaviour rules - simply because it's assumed people know to behave themselves and not act like children. There are no standout rules here - simply treat people with respect. We are a community that all like to do the same thing - e-fed. People can get passionate and wound up at some things but don't let it escalate into silly arguments. This isn't the place for it and it makes the whole community look bad when everything turns into arguments over nonsensical things. This place is for fun. Simply put: don't be a dick.

2. Signing up and Getting Involved.

You can sign up to the FWA by filling out the template below and then posting your sign up in the 'Roster' section. Do not post your sign up in this thread. Create a new one. A mod will look over your application and will then accept/reject the application. If you are rejected, a reason will be given. Usually, a small amendment to the application is just required for acceptance. If there is a bigger reason for being rejected that cannot be divulged in public, a mod will PM you why.

The cards for weekly shows, about which there is more information in that later section, are posted in the ‘Shows, Cards, & Promos’ sub-forum. Look out for your first booking there. Cards will be posted every other weekend, usually. Check each Sunday for a new card. When you're accepted, a mod will usually tell you how far into a cycle we are and when the next card is. We don't tag people. You gotta check.

Once you are on a card and given an opponent, you will then have the chance to post a promo and compete in a match.

There is a limit to how many characters you can have. When you first sign up, you will be limited to ONE singles wrestler or ONE tag team. After six months in the fed (or less, at the discretion of the mod team) you have the option to bring in a second character. You are allowed to have one singles wrestler and one tag team, or two singles wrestlers.

3. Sign Up Template

If you wish to sign up to the FWA, please create a thread in the ‘Roster’ sub-forum. Below are suggestions for key information to give on your character, but you can include more if you wish.

4. Promoing/RP'ing

Once cards are posted, you may discuss the cards in the Card Thread. There will also be a Promo Thread. You should post your RP/Promo in the Promo Thread. However, understand that you can only post ONE PROMO PER CHARACTER PER SHOW. Think carefully about what you are writing and how you are presenting it.

In the Card Thread, you will sometimes find people giving reviews and discussing the work of others. We use constructive criticism here - we all want to get better and improve. If you have the time, feel free to leave a review. Or if you want a review of your own promo, you might find that people are more willing to review you if you do the same for them. These discussion threads are not for arguments to take place - they're supposed to be for the purpose of learning/improving. More discussion of promos takes place on the FWA Discord server.

We DO have some rules with regards to Promos/RPs. We have relaxed a few over the years but there are some rules that must absolutely be adhered to in promos. Breaking any of these rules will result in an automatic DQ, no tolerance and no special exceptions. These are also things we'd like to keep out of 'news' posts and any creative writing that takes place outside of the promo threads.

1. We will not accept the depiction of extremely vulgar acts. This means that we won't accept graphic depictions of things such as rape, torture, etc. That stuff really isn't acceptable for here, or anywhere.

2. Swear words are acceptable but please be considerate with your usage of them. A promo that contains an obscene amount of swear words for no reason is probably not going to be looked at favorably. Use common sense if you are going to use expletives - absolutely no racial, homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic (and other brands of prejudicial) terms are allowed. If you think that it's a must for your promo to contain a banned expletive, PM a mod and ask. However, I doubt permission will be granted for using terms like that. The 'C word' is also banned from shows but use in promos isn't outright banned. That will depend on context. The 'R word' is also a no-no. F bombs are fine. Just don't go overboard on them.

3. You cannot respond to your opponent in a promo. If your opponent posts their promo before you, you read it, and you reference it in your promo, your promo will be instantly DQed. Everyone should be on a level playing field as much as possible. It'd be unfair for someone to post their promo and have all their points derailed because you decided to counter it. You will simply just have to wait until your next promo/match to speak about those things - if you so wish.

4. No editing your promo (outside of the grade period). Once it is posted, it is posted. If your opponent posts their promo after you, you read it and you suddenly think "damn, I should've said this or that" then that's tough. You have a 15 minute grace period for editing your promo for any spelling errors or coding issues. If you're seen to have edited your promo outside of that timescale or to have added considerable amounts of content, it's an instant DQ. No exceptions.

5. Pictures, fancy text and all that stuff is allowed. If you want to make your promo all glittery and shiny, feel free.

6. Please post your promo before the stated deadline in the promo thread. Promos must be posted before the deadline, and if you are right up to the wire, you will have the aforementioned 15 minute grace period to edit your promo (for formatting reasons, not to add additional content). If you do not post your promo ahead of the deadline then your promo will be disqualified. Even if you are a few minutes late, your promo will still be disqualified. This is unless there is a unanimous agreement between the mod team and your opponent(s) for the promo to count, however generally where promos are more than an hour or so late, the mods will decide to disqualify the promo.

7. This was always sort of an unwritten rule, but you cannot say things involving an active roster member happened that never happened on the shows or in a "News" post, without their handler's permission. You also cannot use any other wrestler in your promo without their handler's permission. If you use random people in disguise and claim them to be fake versions of those characters (or any other 'stand-in' trick), that is fine, as long as you make that point clear.

8. You may also post your promo as a PDF. Please see Post #3 of this thread for more information on that.

9. If you use other characters handled by other people in your promo, you yourself must write their dialogue. Cameos from other handlers in your promos are not allowed.

5. Plagiarism

The precedents for plagiarism are as follows:
- For an isolated incident discovered, a one year ban from activity within the fed will be issued.
- For persistent incidents discovered, a lifetime ban from activity within the fed will be issued.

Reusing your own work previously posted within the fed will not be counted as plagiarism, but will result in forfeiture of the match.

6. Promo Deadlines.

Generally, weekly television promo windows will be SEVEN days, and PPV promo windows will by FOURTEEN days.

We do not offer extensions on these deadlines, to ensure that the mod team has sufficient time to grade all of the promos and write and collate the shows. If real life gets in the way and you find yourself unable to submit a promo ahead of the deadline, that is fine. Real life should always come first.

The deadline for both Meltdown and Fallout are on the same day. This will always be Sunday at midnight (that's Sunday into Monday) Pacific Time. The same is true for PPVs.

Meltdown is posted on a Thursday, Fallout on Saturday. Full information on the cycle is given below in the ‘Weekly Shows’ section.

7. Match/Segment writing

Whilst the mod team will handle most of this, help is appreciated. The FWA and its shows is a result of community input and output. If you are willing to write a match or segment for your character then great! Just PM a mod and request details and send your stuff to that same mod in a timely fashion. However, if you are consistently late and hold shows up, we will reconsider giving out matches/segments to you. If you are going to write something, do your best to send it in a couple days before the show is due, but we understand that isn't always possible and will always make an effort to get your stuff into the show.

Information on formatting for matches and segments is given here:
What follows is general information for those kind enough to submit segments or matches. Please do try to stick to this as far as you can. Or, if you can't do that, the second best thing is in plain-text, completely un-formatted, but with the dialogue layout adhered to at least. The mods will change anything that doesn't match this information for uniformity of results threads which is bad for our workload.. It will allow us to get shows up quicker if you do your best to follow these points.

7.1: Arena stage design.
From Fallout 001 Results:​
The camera is in the ring and we look up a long, long ramp that approaches the staging area. The design of this is reasonably simple. A black curtain separates us from Gorilla position, split down the middle and framed by purple scaffolding perhaps three metres in height and two metres in width. Above this, sitting along the top bar of the scaffolding, is a cast iron mould of the Fallout logo. The big screen - and it is fucking big - sits above the Fallout sign, the 'FWA' part of the logo protruding into the centre of it slightly. The dimensions of the screen are twenty five metres by just over fourteen metres, and the sheer size of it is pretty impressive in itself. Either side of the logo and entrance scaffolding is a mesh fencing with barbed wire wrapped around its top. On the right hand side of the entrance, the meshing has been mangled as if by a recent impact... the source of which is obvious for all to see: a burnt out Delorean sits at a thirty degree angle atop of some heavily bowing fencing. The gap forged by the car has been plugged by reams and reams of barbed wire, and the smashed glass from the windows (all of which have seemingly been shattered) lie about the hood of the vehicle as well as that part of the staging itself.

7.2: Formatting for speech in matches AND segments.
(to be followed in all but the most extenuating circumstances...)
7.2a. The speaking character's name should be bolded and followed by a colon, in 'automatic' colour.
7.2b. The speech of the character should be in speech marks ("").
7.2c. The speech itself should be bolded and coloured in your character's speech colour (if applicable).
7.2d. Please do not use the four colours above that are designated as Fallout Auxiliary Character colours. If you'd really like to use one of those (I've tried to choose unpopular ones), let me know and the Auxiliary Character's colour will be changed
7.2e. Speech that is spread over two paragraphs should only have the character's name at the start of the speech, not at the start of each paragraph. All speech should be bolded and coloured. Speech marks go only at the very start and very end of the passage of speech.
7.2f. Speech with an unknown speaker should be proceeded by three bolded question marks before the speech.

7.2g. Not really speech based but don't put the descriptive parts in italics. Italics used for emphasis only on shows.

7.3: General match-writing guidance.

Obviously, circumstances mean there might be exceptions to any of these but don't be pushing the boundaries every single match or for a regular TV match or whatever. We'd like the show to flow well with similarly formatted matches. These are, really, all aesthetic, and shouldn't impinge on content or creativity.

7.3a. Entrances.
- Entrance songs should be set out like this:

- In non-title matches, the introduction by the ring announcer should occur as each competitor comes to the ring. Please have this in what you send else we will have to add one ourselves. In ALL title matches, introductions by the ring announcer occur inside the ring after the entrance music has ended. In ALL title matches, the champion's entrance should be last.

7.3b. Near falls.
- We would like to have uniform pin counts as far as possible. Here are examples of how we'd like this to look:
ONE... NO!
ONE... TW - - NO!
ONE... TWO... NO!
ONE... TWO... THR - - NO!
ONE... TWO... THREE!

You may have fun with the exclamation points. This is one of the freedoms which is afforded to you.

7.3c: Match timings.
- All matches should end with a method of victory and time-stamp inside the match. This will be made up if not submitted with your match. Please pay attention to the time limit advertised in the card thread.

7.3d: Post-match.
- All post matches should feature an announcement by the ring announcer with the winner. This will be added if you forget or whatever, or (as is most likely) are sending in the match without a finish.

8. News & History Section

There is a 'News and History' Section which is where you are free to post 'news' regarding your character - have they made an appearance on TV? Have they given an interview on radio? Have they won the Nobel Prize? Post about it! There is also a twitter thread where you can post 'tweets' from your character. This section also contains information such as FWA Title Histories, records, the Hall of Fame and Releases/Suspensions.

11. Show cycle structure:

12. Pay-per-views.

The FWA currently runs between four and seven pay-per-views per year. They are roughly spread out the year like so:

New Year's PPV (often Mile High).
March/April PPV, which will again be preceded by the annual King of the Deathmatch tournament.
Carnal Contendership directly after the Match/April PPV.
Back in Business in the Summer.
Anniversary Show in early Autumn.
October/November PPV.

13. FWA Match Type Compendium (an on-going project).

Carnal Contendership - a royal rumble style battle royale that takes place in late April of each year. The winner of this match receives a shot at the FWA World Champion at Back in Business in the Summer. This match will always main event the last night of the show(s).

Golden Opportunity - an Elimination Chamber style match that takes place in the aftermath of Back in Business, with the prize being the Golden Opportunity briefcase. Historically, the characters finishing second through seventh have qualified for the traditional six-person chamber match, though some years have seen seven enter the cage. The holder of the briefcase has three hundred and sixty five days to cash in on the FWA World Champion. The current rules for cash ins, outlined by TGO back when Nova Diamond had the briefcase, are as follows:

Nova Diamond, the new holder of the Golden Opportunity briefcase, gets an FWA World Championship match at some point in between [in the year (365 days) following his win - edited by SS].

In kayfabe, Nova Diamond gets this chance whenever he wishes.

In reality, there are a few limitations but we try our hardest to make it as flexible as possible.

Oz has three options:
1. He can let all mods know ahead of time he'd like to challenge for the belt, cashing in his title match, for an impromptu match on any show. However, he must promo and SS (or whoever is champ) also promos in secret for the show.

2. He can publicly challenge for the belt at a future date. This allows for proper build going into the match. Most people have done this (Gabrielle most recently).

3. He can cash in as a complete surprise even to the champion. This is the wildest scenario possible — and has only been attempted once (by Drew Stevenson, who lost). This scenario is only allowed when the champion is competing as a singles competitor (no tag matches) ON ANY SHOW, PPV or regular. Title match or non-title match.

Oz must let a mod know he wishes to cash in on a show within 24 hours after promo deadline. He then has 24 hours to submit his own promo from the moment he lets the mods know (so a max of 48 hours depending on when he pulls the trigger). If his promo outscores the World Champion's promo he will win. The World Champion does not get a chance to re-promo specifically for Nova Diamond. Their original promo must outscore the Nova Diamond surprise one. This gives Oz an edge since he can analyze the promo posted and determine if he has a good shot to beat them. However, he isn't told beforehand what the scores were.

If Oz cashes in this way after a World Championship match, he must outscore ALL PROMOS in the match, not just the defending champion's promo. The other competitors do not get a chance to re-promo specifically for Nova Diamond. The winning promo in the original title match must outlast the Nova Diamond surprise one. This gives Oz an edge since he can analyze the promos posted and determine if he has a good shot to beat them. However, he isn't told beforehand who won the original match or what the scores were.​


X Rules - a match in which there are no disqualifications, no countouts, and falls count anywhere. Currently, all matches for the FWA X Championship are contested under X Rules.

Cosmic Playground - a match in which two teams of four or five compete, with the captains starting in a room. After a certain time, a door opens to a next room, through which the current combatants must escape or be eliminated from the match. Another combatant enters in the next room, which is also of his or her design. This continues until all competitors have entered and gone into one final room, where a single fall ends things, or a final escape to avoid an explosion. This match was invented by Uncle J.J. JAY!, and there have been two incarnations: on Fallout 002 and on the 19th Anniversary Show.

Madman's Mayhem - a cinematic match in which two or more competitors fight in what is usually an abandoned and dilapidated infirmary of some sort. This match was pioneered by Konchu Hao.

Three Strikes Match - a match in which three types of win condition are laid out (eg, pinfall, submission, last man standing), which the competitors must accomplish in that order (this making it different from a regular Three Stages Of Hell Match). This match was pioneered by Shawn Summers ahead of his 2022 Back in Business match with Mike Parr.

Jailhouse Blues - a name given to staggered entry tag team matches in cages. These matches have had variation in their usage, with one or two rings, elimination or one fall, and 5v5 and 2v2v2 matches all being seen. Match originated in CWA, a separate fed from WrestlingClique that exists within our universe.

Mile High Massacre - A multi-man match for a championship inside a cell structure, with the championship hanging from the ceiling of the cell. Competitors must scale ladders and the first to retrieve the championship wins the match. Usually takes place at Mile High. Can be either singles or tag team format.

14. Promo grading

Here is what TGO (former head mod) wrote when the new grading scale came in:

The mod team has discussed revamping the grading scale/rubric used to determine winners and losers in matches. The FWA has used a grading scale since its inception in 2005. It received a much-needed overhaul in 2017, thanks to Shake and KAIZEN (I believe).

We decided to take it further, getting rid of the equal weight across the categories.

NOTE: This grading scale WAS NOT used for Back in Business. We used the previous version for that show. This new scale will be used starting with Fallout #1.

So here's the new grading scale.

Quality of content/match selling/theme/story/length = /15
Presentation/spelling/grammar = /5
Creativity in approach, theme, style, story = /10
Character portrayal = /5
Character development = /5

An explanation for what these category names mean:

Quality of content/match selling/theme/story/length (/15) — Probably the most important category, and thus why it is out of 15 now. Are you discussing the match itself, the backstory behind the match, your opponent, etc.? Do you have a theme? A narrative (even a loose one)? Is the promo properly structured and not just a mishmash of word vomit monologue? How descriptive are you being? Have you created scenes that draw the reader in and make them feel like they are present, or did you skim through scene-setting or unnecessarily describe a random tree just to add words? Does the promo "feel" longer than it should? Or maybe it cuts off shorter than it should?

Lastly, are you selling the match? Making it feel important? Expressing why you want to win or will win?

This category has the most elements to it, and some mods may prioritize different elements than others do. If you get a 5 out of 15? You likely missed the mark on a lot of elements. 8/15? Average. 10/15? You did alright. Anything higher is a very good score, imo. Examples of great stuff for this are MvH at CC and Toner's promo against Golden on a Fight Night a few months back.

Presentation/spelling/grammar (/5) — It is what you'd imagine. How is the promo presented? Is it littered with misspellings and grammatical issues? We reduced the weight of this one to make it easier for grading and to devalue it compared to quality of content.

Same as above for variance in mod prioritization. For instance, I am a slight sucker for a really good presentation aspect. Others might not be.

1/5 is troublesome. 2/5 is work in progress. 3/5 is average. 4/5 is rock solid. 5/5 is Ramon's CC promo and TxR at BIB.

Creativity (/10) — Likely the second most important category, and for some this element is why they enjoy reading promos. How unique is your promo compared to others on the show? Compared to your past work? Compared to the entire history of FWA promo'ing. Are you having people choose their own adventure, or are you standing in the ring with a microphone and monologue'ing about your opponent? Have you placed your character in the world of the Fallout video game? Or did you utilize a dream sequence for the fifth consecutive time? Is your character monologue'ing, or are you delivering the promo in a unique manner, such as through someone else?

1-3/10 is you giving a backstage interview. 4-6/10 is realm of average; not boring but you're still staying in your usual box. 7-8/10 is a really unique promo with a concerted effort to be different than your usual stuff. 9-10 is something I've never seen before, such as Shawn Summers' CWA "The Player's Tribune" .pdf promo (which is an example of how even a simple concept can hit on creativity).

Character portrayal (/5) — This is where the rubric splits one category into two with less weight. This is all about the intricacies of your character. It rewards crafting personality traits that stand out. If your character has a specific personality, it should shine through. If your character has a more modest personality, you can still score while focusing on what makes them unique. A bland character with nothing to distinguish it from Greg is going to have a low ceiling here.

1/5 is you're Greg. 2/5 is you're just a heel who says he's going to destroy everyone. 3-4/5 is some modest elements of a character. 4-5/5 is J.J. JAY! or Chris Peacock at their peaks, or literally any AON character.

Character development (/5) — Characters are our stories, and they should ideally be moving in some direction. Maybe it's improvement of character, or regression of character. Whatever the case, every match result or non-match interaction should have at least a small effect, inspiring some sort of meter movement. Is that represented or shown in your promo, or does the character feel like they're stuck in mud in terms of progression?

1/5 is your character never changed a lick. 2/5 is you included like one glimmer of change but glossed over it. 3/5 is average development ("Oh I lost my last match; I guess I should have ennui now"). 4/5 is noticeable and legitimate development. 5/5 is Gabby right after Desert Storm. Another top of mind is Kayden Knox at BIB.

A tiny history lesson:

Originally, there were eight categories, each /10, for a total of 80 points. That's pretty arduous, so Shake/Kai trimmed it down to four categories /10. I believe they removed "length", "logic", and one other, and combined "character" and "character development" into one category. They walked so we could run, and I thank them for improving the grading scale from the original concept (which was the definition of "starting point").

We chose to split character portrayal and character development — I pushed for it so if you hate it, come yell at me. The idea is those two elements are unique enough from one another to deserve their own categories and scores. Making them /5 each keeps the weight the same.​


This is still all true. A note about the QoC category is that the five subcategories will be considered by graders but not necessarily reflected by an even split with three points for each category. Some mods will grade like that, but some won't. It may be the case that deficiencies in one are overcome by excellence in another. But all five will be considered.

Generally, promo grades seem to shake out with this overview;
0 - 20 : varying levels of promos posted to avoid a no-show or very poor promos.
20 - 22 : a poor promo.
22 - 24 : promo has redeeming features but generally is below average quality and needs a lot of development.
24 - 26 : promo is still below average but has good elements or ideas.
26 - 28 : average promo with areas to develop.
28 - 30 : a good promo.
30 - 32 : very good, some excellent elements.
32 - 34 : an excellent promo.
34 - 36 : probably a world title promo or something by MvH.
36 - 38 : promo of the year candidate.
38 - 40 : goat god level promo.

A top ten or twenty characters by grade average will be posted at the end of each cycle. You can request your grade from the mods if you wish, however please note that grader identities will remain confidential and you cannot request your opponent’s grades.

In the case of 1v1s:
There will be 5 assigned graders for world (singles) title matches, and 3 assigned graders for all other matches. The person with the most 'wins' on the grades amongst the graders will win the match. If one of the graders scores it a tie and it is 1-1 or 2-2 amongst other graders, then a 4th/6th grader will be chosen to tie-break. The same system is used for triple threats, with tie-breakers only used if the grades are tied at 1-1-1 (or other ties).
This remains the same in the case of 2v2s, 3v3s, etc, only with a team's grade average deciding the winner with each grader.

In the case of multi-mans:
There will be 3 assigned graders for multi-man matches (with 4+ competitors). If the 3 graders pick the same winner, that person wins. if there are different winners chosen, the top three promos will be graded by 2 additional graders. 15. Interaction with other E-Feds

For all intents and purposes, the FWA exists within its own universe. In the FWA Universe, it is the principal wrestling company in the world. Now, that’s not to say that it is the only one. You will have seen references to CWA in the above, which is the fed that existed on our previous forum. CWA exists within the FWA universe.

Characters within the FWA universe have wrestled at other companies before, which largely have been created by the handlers of those characters for the purposes of giving their characters a back story. Any such company is canon in FWA as it is relevant to these characters.

We are aware that we are not the only efed on this site, and we are also aware that there are a number of characters that appear in both feds. Initially, the FWA universe canon is going to remain as it is, as if the fed was still being ran elsewhere.

This is a point that the mod team have been discussing already. We understand that existing WS users may wish to bring their characters across into the FWA, and we would be more than happy to welcome anyone who wishes to join us. Where someone has a rich character history in another fed, which will be relevant to their ongoing character in the FWA, we may soften this stance and decide to adopt the history of the existing fed into the FWA canon. This is of course dependent on specific requests for this to be done, and the number of people who may want to bring characters across.

This should be obvious, but 'real' wrestling promotions and wrestlers don't exist in this universe. There's no WWE, AEW, NJPW, etc. Mentioning them in a promo will likely cause deductions in the 'Quality of Content' category. The only exceptions to this are Kaiju Big Battel and MvH learning the Burning Hammer from Kenta Kobashi. Just kidding - no exceptions really.

16. Discord

The FWA has a very active Discord server. In fact, the community and friendships that we have built in that server is probably one of the best things about being involved in the fed. Discussion is not limited to FWA, as we talk wrestling, news, hobbies and basically anything. We also stream wrestling shows regularly in there.

The Discord is chiefly for FWA members only. There are some exceptions (such as former fed members and people that the majority know and wish to contribute to our discord), but primarily people will only be granted access to the FWA Discord if they sign up with a character and are subsequently invited by one of the mod team.

Hello.

Wanted to update this with some changes to match writing and clarifications of grading going forward…

Match-writing.

You should expect a change in the format of the shows from the upcoming XXVIII/028 cycle. We are going to move towards highlight results for matches similar to the KODM and CDW shows. Just like in those shows, matches will be told through 3-5 'match highlights' of varying lengths. We think it's possible to tell the story of the match in a dramatic fashion without reciting every move, and that perhaps in most cases this can even be more engaging.

On each cycle, we will pick one match based on a variety of factors that will get a full write-up. These factors include the stature of the match (eg within a feud, for a championship, etc), the quality of the promos, the closeness of the match, and general anticipation levels. The write-up will cycle around the mods for this featured match. The rest of the moderators will write the rest of the highlight packages.

The main reason for this change is an attempt to make moderator workload more manageable. We're happy to discuss this in more detail and other ways to do that if this is seen as a major issue by anyone.

Pay-per-view results will remain as full match write-ups, and we are always very happy if a member is happy to write their own PPV match, or if they wish for their match on a ‘weekly’ show to be written in full and wish to do so themselves.

Grading.

We also wanted to clarify how matches are graded and how tie breakers are used, so that this is consistent and transparent for all members.

In the case of 1v1s:
There will be 5 assigned graders for world (singles) title matches, and 3 assigned graders for all other matches. The person with the most 'wins' on the grades amongst the graders will win the match. If one of the graders scores it a tie and it is 1-1 or 2-2 amongst other graders, then a 4th/6th grader will be chosen to tie-break.
This remains the same in the case of 2v2s, 3v3s, etc, only with a team's grade average deciding the winner with each grader.

In the case of multi-mans:
There will be 3 assigned graders for multi-man matches. If the 3 graders pick the same winner, that person wins. if there are different winners chosen, the top three promos will be graded by 2 additional graders. Then, a 'medals' point system is used to determine the positions amongst this top three. If there is a tie on the 'medals' point system, this will be broken by a 6th grader.

This will be tweaked moving forward if needs be.

@FWA Wrestler Submitting a promo by PDF.

We have decided that, from this cycle, it is valid to submit a link to a PDF for your promo. However, please read the following carefully before doing so or risk the promo being DQed for not following these instructions:

1. Please ensure that the mods have access to whatever link you post. If it's a dead link or you haven't shared it properly, then you will be given a zero for the promo. If you are using Google Drive to host your PDF, make sure when you click the 'share' button and get the link, you change the permissions to 'anyone with the link' and make them a viewer. This needs to be done before the standard deadline.
2. You also need to DM the PDF to a mod (me for now I guess) on discord (if you aren't on discord, let us know and you can do this through email). This is so it can be uploaded to the FWA drive and it doesn't disappear over time. This needs to be done before the editing/grace deadline (fifteen minutes after actual deadline). If this isn’t done in addition to #1, your promo will score a zero.
3. You are also required to copy and paste a plaintext version on the forum, in the same post as the link. This will not be graded and therefore doesn't need any formatting/frills. Just a straight copy and paste will do. This is because we have some members who are unable to use PDF files but still want to be able to read a version of the promo.

You can still post your promo on the forum using the forum formatting options if you wish to.

Please note that we are not accepting just a link to a doc. This is because docs are dynamic and there is too much opportunity for botches with editing after the deadline. It would also require mods being given editing rights and having to check edit history for each promo. So, a PDF please.

If you need any help with converting a Google Doc to a PDF or with uploading it onto a drive (or have general questions about this), please reach out.
