Funny Mike Adamle Story

WrestleZone.com can now confirm a story that Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net reported about Mike Adamle recently asking Tazz whether ECW was a one hour or 30-minute show. I'm sure this opens him up to a few jokes here and there, but a source states that "Mike's likeable and is learning the wrestling business. It's hard to master."

I still say that Adamle's apparent ignorance is all some kind of act for comedy or for a future storyline. No way somebody can be THIS ignorant of the wrestling business after this long.

Which is still longer than half an hour isn't it? I don't believe that after doing this for a few months, he would not know how long the show is. I know he isn't the best commentator, but I have to take his side on this one.

I agree with Roxxxi. It's kinda sad especially considering that the people that do commentary for IWA-MS DVDs have less training than Adamle and are 10 times better at it.

Well, a commentators job is to sell the show. If they say they are in a 40,000 capacity with a 1,000 crowd, that does the opposite of their job.

As for the turnbuckle thing, it was a mistake, J.R. makes them all of the time. I for one am a Tony Schiavone fan.

Adamle probably means how long he talks for, as in their script... In which case Adamle is on for about 1 and a half minutes; he's too afraid of screwing up
