Fresh Match Ups

While I have been wanting to see some new matches, feuds, etc. does anyone else think the pairing of guys like Umaga/Punk and the *RUMORED* pairing of Jericho/Undertaker is kinda random? I mean please dont misunderstand me, I think the matches and feuds should be great but its kinda like "Wha whaaa? Where did THAT come from?" Also, take this opportunity to throw together a feud youd like to see. Personally, since the WWE are set on "pushing new stars" id like to see HBK vs. Morrison once before HBK retires. And since were going random, Id also want to see Shelton Benjamin vs. The Big Show or Khali.

Yeah, I think the feuds are random. I still don't like how the whole Taker/HBK match-up was just all of a sudden.

But if you think about it, that's how a lot of feuds start. Just look at recently, MVP/Regal, Big Show being added to the Cena/Edge feud, the one's that you mentioned above, Tyson Kid/Finlay, list goes on.

And adding to the Random feuds list, I still want to see a Benjamin/Taker feud before Taker retires.

Punk v Umaga.... If my suspicions are correct, then he was deplyed by Edge as some sort of insurance policy... Only him or Knox really fit the bill from the current SD roster.

Jericho v Taker... Would be rather bold to deem it to be random when we haven't seen anything at all go on betwen the two so far. Could be a perfect catalyst for the storyline just round the corner.

HBK v Morrison... Doesn't feel random to me... Just seems like one of those 'innevitable' clashes given the paralells betwen the two. I really hope they can find space to give Morrison the match of his life at WM before HBK hangs up the boots... The hope being that HBK's genius will rub off on him and we'll have a new showstopper to run with the ball.


Interesting idea re: Shelton vs the giants....That really would be testament to how much of a good in-ring performar he is... The Bret's & Angles of this world always managed to make the best of things.... Can Shelton?

How the hell can we say Jericho/Taker is random when it hasn't started yet? We don't even know how they'll build it up. Punk/Umaga is slightly random, but that's cause we haven't heard a backstory yet. I'm sure we'll get more on why Umaga attacked Punk as it goes on. The feud itself is a bit random, but I'm sure it won't be for long. As for Jericho/Taker, like I said, how can we know if it'll be random yet?

When Jericho first started feuding with HBK, it made sense. When he first started feuding with Cena, it made sense. I dont know why, maybe its because I dont see him on the same level as Taker. Itd be kinda like ________ vs. Taker or Eddie vs. Taker in a feud, its like "Oh hey". Remember when Billy Kidman feuded with Hulk Hogan? Its that kinda feel to me.

My thoughts exactly. Jericho has arguably been more succesful over the past year and a half since returning than Taker has in that same time frame. I don't see how Kaedon can say they aren't on the same level. Jericho is the perfect guy to face Taker right now.

Jericho is on the same level as taker, hhh, hbk if you ask me. His recent heel exposure has been great for him. I think if he had not taken a break in 05 i think that people will think differently.

By your logic the pairing of any two people in a feud is completely random. Plenty of feuds are sparked out of the blue and are simply the result of someone cutting a promo or calling someone out. A feud between any two people can be justified quite easily. Especially when you're talking about Jericho lately. Pairing him with Taker in a feud would be insanely easy to do.
