SummerSlam Fred Durst Kicked Out Of SummerSlam For Obscene Gesture, A.W. Sign Confiscated

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst was escorted out of the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California, the venue for WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view event Sunday night, by security personnel after flipping the bird while being shown live on camera prior to the main event match-up between Brock Lesnar and Triple H.

Durst, however, is denying that he was kicked out of the venue. He wrote on Twitter, “I was leaving to beat the traffic! Haha, security escorting me out?? WWE is family. hahaha. Is this really a rumor? Amazing. My boys at WWE are cracking up! Note- never leave early to beat traffic!”

The message was quickly deleted.

“Limp Bizkit” frontman Fred Durst was not kicked out of Staples Center following his middle-finger to the camera during WWE’s Summerslam broadcast Sunday night, according to a TMZ report. Durst reportedly left ringside to apologize to WWE…and beat the L.A. traffic out of the arena.

“We appreciate Fred’s apology,” a WWE spokesperson told TMZ. “However, we take our family-friendly environment very seriously and this was a violation of that. We sincerely apologize to our fans.” Durst tweeted about his departure, saying, “I was leaving to beat the traffic! Haha, security escorting me out?? WWE is family. hahaha. Is this really a rumor? Amazing. My boys at WWE are cracking up! Note — never leave early to beat traffic!”

Same incident with Ozzy Osbourne and the Morning Show. Both were live and both did things they wren't suppose to. Fred flipped off the camera, which it's a kids show, even if it was TV-14 it still would have been censored if they saw it coming. Ozzy yelled "FUCK!" at the end of his segment when he knew he wasn't suppose to, because once again it's a family show. People will do stuff like this time to time, glad to see they didn't kick him out after all. They should really tell the people though not to do that stuff, I'm sure Fred doesn't have the same mind set as Ozzy and would have tried to contain it.

Do they even have legal rights to confiscate signs? Last time I checked they didn't have legal authority to remove a persons sign from them under Freedom of Speech
