-MMAScoops.com is reporting that Frank Mir has claimed that Brock Lesnar is an embarrassment to the sport of MMA, and that he embarrassed himself and his children. Mir wants a rematch, claiming he came "within half-an-inch of catching him".

I think that Frank Mir is playing the bitch card now. Frank Mir barely got a hit in at all let alone "half an inch of catching him." Mir is in no position to talk about Lesnar kid.

Lol, pulling out the Batista card >_>

Give him his rematch. We get a rubber match, and when Lesnar beats his ass again, he can go away for good.

I actually hope he gets his rematch and Brock puts him in a coma.

xD at Mir

"I was a half inch from catching him" :roflmao: I think those blows to the head did some damage.

I hope he gets his rematch, and Brock puts him in a com-.....yeah...

Why? When Frank loses that one, his career would be over. Him beatign Lesnar the first time was a fluke, and Lesnar proved that beating him in the second fight. If they fight again, it'll be the same result, and Frank will have two massive losses in a short time frame. If I were him, I'd stay away from Lesnar for as long as possible.

^^^His career wouldn't be over, I don't think. He'd be down a couple of rungs, but a second loss to him wouldn't end his career. The match itself should pull a strong audience, 1 - it's the rubber match, 2 - people still want to see Lesnar get the tar kicked out of him, and Mir's the only man to do it thus far.

I'd pull for the rematch, keep it for a while. Let them talk some more trash, and have their third and final match. I don't know if I'd give either man another match before this one, as a loss could mess things up (or make them better).

But I give the thumbs up for the third match between these two.

Sorry, just have to point this out... but a bullshit stoppage and points deduction due to Mir's tactical rolling (it is illegal to do what he was doing in that fight) and restart (that should have been both men standing since there was stoppage and deduction) when Brock was dominating Mir the entire fight up to that point and then locked in a submission... isn't "getting the tar kicked" out of him. Brock'll hurt Mir in the rubber match. Brock should take it as fast as possible, because that loss WILL put Mir in a bad place in UFC, and I'm tired of seeing Mir myself.

Personally Dana White would NEVER okay a rematch anytime in the near future. UFC doesn't book their fights that way, this isn't the WWE. Just because Mir feels like bitching doesn't mean he can get what he wants. Mir now goes significantly down the line behind most HW contenders. In order for Mir to go fight Lesnar in their third match, he would have to fight his way back up the ladder. However, fighting your way up the ladder only to get stomped by Lesnar seems like a waste of time lol.

Lesnar will always smash Mir from this point forward in the octogon and on the microphone lol.

Lesnar beat his ass in the first fight and only slipped up with a rookie mistake. Lesnar beat his ass in the second fight because he knows how to deal with Mir now and Frank is nothing to Lesnar now. He needs to realize that and realize that catering to the MMA Fanboys and still feeding the stigma of "Lesnar Sucks" is only going to get him as far as Lesnar will throw him across the Octagon for the rubber match.

So Mir wants a third match? why? he saw that he still has few non-misplaced facial tissue in his face that needed some punishment?!! :smh

Seriously, for him to have a longer life-span in Octagon; he should not fight Lesnar any time soon!! something like 4 years period.

Mir is just a one cocky ass dude, he finally had a bigger arrogant (Lesnar) to put him in place and made a joke out of him.

Mir can sucka dick tbh.

But the champ can call out his opponent? Because isn't that how Lesnar got the title shot, Couture asked to face Brock.

either way, rematch or not, Lesnar will still win, so who cares
