Francine talks original pitches for her role on NXT ECW Arena show

[Chris]

On why she turned down being guest referee:

“Because my core is so weak, just lifting myself up getting into the ring is slow. So, I was just like, well, I guess I’m not going to be able to do it.”

“I went to Rhode Island ComicCon for four days, and I talked, and I talked, and I talked, and I lost my voice. So on Tuesday, they sent me a script to be a backstage interviewer, and I go, ‘Ugh, I can’t do this either; My voice is shot.'”

“Would I have liked to have done more? Of course. I would have loved to have had an entrance and walked to the ring and did something. It just wasn’t in the cards for me, but just being included was enough. Like, I didn’t need any more than that. It was fun. I got to meet so many great people. The girls were so nice; some of them had on ECW attire, which I thought was adorable.”

I saw her at RICC and her line was always long everytime I walked by. She had more of a crowd than DMD. Actually a few times I walked by the wrestling area and Britt had no one

She does so many appearances and sounds like she genuinely still enjoys being around wrestling, I always enjoy when she pops up on a podcast or something

Never watched the original ECW so I only really know of her by name but it's good to see these folk enjoying their time being back at the shows. I hope they do more if it across all shows like they did at Bad Blood with them all in the crowd

Luger Hardy’s and DDP were also busy
I wouldn’t say Foley was super busy but he does so many appearances now and his autograph is usually cheaper at those appearances so that’s probably why
Dudleyz not so much but they also were there a few years ago when I was there so it could be people didn’t wanna spend the money again on the them.
