"I hope I am not fighting Jon 'Bones' Jones. I might be. F*ck it; if I am, I am. I will do it, but I am not even training right now. That is a bad dude. That dude will whoop my ass. F*ck it. What is the worst, I mean, it could not be worse than Anderson Silva. It should not be worse than that, right? Every fight I go into, no matter what happens, it could not be worse than Anderson Silva. Because that sh*t was a year ago and literally every day people ask me something about that - 'What happened? What happened?' [Anderson punched me in the chin] Repeatedly and I was very confused. I tried to punch him and he literally moved his head out of the way and looked at me like I was stupid for doing it. He looked at me like - 'Why would you do such a stupid thing?' He looked at me like - 'Oh, did you really think you were going to hit me? What a stupid thing to think, you slow slow white boy.' Then he punched me. I felt embarrassed for even trying to punch him."

His 2nd book is out and he's working on his 3rd.

is he being humble or does he have a loser attitude that Dana should address with a gimmie win? Another loss could put his career on a halt and we're all big fans of forrest right? Dude's awesome

I don't think it is a loser attitude that needs adressing. I think it's like choosing between him being pessimistic and realistic about that fight. He's not being pessimistic, he's just being realistic. There's no point for Forrest to deny that he got owned in that fight - frankly I think it's cool that he's being so 'real' about it and saying what he's saying.

Plus he came back into the Tito/Griffith 2 fight and won. Let's be honest, it was Tito's first fight in a while, but still Forrest looked pretty damn good. I hope for sure that he will continue to fight, and just try to cram the Silva fight into the back of his head.

EDIT - ROFL, after actually listening to the audio/video that's even better, lol. You feel like he's laughing at it on the outside, but on the inside he's not :p

Wait. I thought this guy got canned after his bout on TUF 10 finale.

No Jon Jones only got DQ'd for the 12-6 elbows on Matt Hamill.

It was Paul Daley who cheapshotted Josh Koscheck after the final bell and he got kicked out of the UFC for it.
funny that the black guy gets the black guys mixed up.. lawls

Right now, I can only compare him to Daria

She was painfully honest in a depressing way. If he's just being real, how about we don't stop there. Let's be real, he can't bounce back in the 205 division. He hasn't been in good shape and his strengths have been getting attacked lately, and he doesn't seem to have the never die fighter spirit. He might as well hurry up with his 3rd book before he starts looking at a commentating job.
When you're looking at it from a realistic perspective, life sucks. Daria explained that. Gotta have hope and all that good stuff that the bible teaches.

Forrest is just being depressing and he's not going to win a fight with his attitude. If he walked into the Silva fight saying, Hey it won't be that bad, then no shit he got pummeled. He has to change his attitude if he wants to win. I know you weren't really arguing with me on this, but yeah.
