TMZ.com reported today that Kurt Angle was furious and vowed to track down scammers that tricked his mother into paying a ransom for the release of her grandson from a prison in Costa Rica, even though he had actually not been to Costa Rica for a year.

Angle said "I'm gonna find the son of a bitch who did this to my mom," Angle tells us ... adding, "I don't want this happening to anyone else!"
