During an interview with WrestlingInc.com, former WWE star Ariya Daivari talked about his time with 205 Live and brought up Enzo Amore being added to the division:

“At first, everyone was like, ‘he’s not a cruiserweight-type wrestler’ and wondered if it will work out. But, at the end of the day, Vince McMahon really, really liked Enzo despite what people say about him, or his attitude. Vince likes characters and promos, and Enzo was both of those. Vince was always going to make time for Enzo. Because we got to work with Enzo, we were allowed to close out RAW a few times and that was cool. Say what you want about him, the guy brought star power to 205 Live, and working with him was cool. When management cares about someone, it creates opportunities for others.”

“I always got along with him great. I don’t know what happened before he came to 205 Live. I did hear that he alienated himself from the RAW locker room. But when he came to 205 Live, he was very encouraging and was committed to making the brand better. He wasn’t selfish or anything, he was always coming up with ideas. He’s just a brash and in-your-face kind of guy, and that rubs people the wrong way sometimes. But I always got along with him.”

Been long enough, he's been punished enough for something that seems to be a bunch of bullshit, 205 Live and NXT need someone like him.

Would have thought he wouldn't have been insta fired if this was true tbh. Always seemed like they wanted an excuse to and he gave them the out.

But he was also CW champ at the time when 205 was featured more so I can buy it as well

Enzo wasn't really one of my favourites and I wasn't a big Enzo and Cass guy but I do think he was partly what got my eyes on 205 Live. Say what you will about his wrestling ability compared to others but he had a lot more personality than a lot of guys on that show. It just kinda felt bland otherwise. Him and Neville for sure.

I think where he lacked with ring ability he made up for with mic skills, plenty of charisma and at least knew how to work a crowd.

The guy can’t work a lick but had charisma and can talk.

If he didn’t pull that stunt at Survivor Series, they probably would’ve brought him back by now.

I feel like they used the accusation as a way to get rid of him. There are have been stories of him being a pain in the ass, and in interview he even said he wasn't shy to speak up if he thought something was wrong. Not saying that's a bad thing, but as far as WWE goes clearly they probably didn't like that. I do think he has charisma, and presents, but not being able to wrestle limits the options IMO.

Never liked him but it's been enough time for WWE to reconsider givin' him another chance.
