According to a report by Fighters Only, former UFC lightweight champion Sean Sherk had an interesting experience while over in the United Kingdom, as Sherk was stopped by police for being in a vehicle linked to a local gang figure.
Sherk was dragged out of the backseat of a car by officers who were carrying machine guns and cuffed before being searched and tossed to the side. Sherk and his driver were eventually allowed to leave after a complete investigation had been done.
The "Muscle Shark" was in England conducting a seminar tour. Sherk returned to the UFC in 2010, defeating Evan Dunham. Injuries, however, have kept him out of action since, though a rumored bout with Clay Guida for 2012 has been reported.
