The word making the rounds in the last day is that former Ring of Honor star Jimmy Rave will be working for TNA at the 9/10-9/11 No Surrender PPV/Impact taping events in Orlando, Florida. I have no idea if he's coming in full-time or is just booked for something of a tryout but he's scheduled for both the PPV and TV. Rave has worked a lot of the Vince Russo "Ring of Glory" religious-themed indy events and there's been talk that Russo has suggested him in the past. Rave departed ROH after requesting a release from his contract a few weeks back.

could be very interesting..

This is good news for TNA if they can pull a long term deal out for this one. This is exactly how they need to pull in talent that are fresh, and exciting, which has been my complaint on them for months. Some mainstream fans don't know anything about Jimmy Rave, and he could really make an impact (no pun intended), to the company if he's used right. Nice move by TNA here, maybe there's signs of hope afterall.

If they get rave then id say a damn good signing. I say either a good addition to tna's x division or roster.

Wow I knee that Rave wassnt leaving ROH for nothing thats a great deal for TNA, Could be a great heel addition to the X Division I can see it now after their classic matchups in ROH a Rematch between Rave and Jay Lethal for the X Division title.

This could be good. For some reason, I just see him belonging with the MCMG. LOL, I could just be an idiot, but he just looks like he would work well with them.

I haven't seen or heard this guy. But TNA needs some new talent, that's for sure.

If TNA is smart...

Rave + Shelley + Sabin + Prince Nana = The Embassy V2

I actually thought Rave's release was a work, I guess not. TNA needs to bring in indy guys more often. What happened to Puma and Minoru Tanaka? I remember reading they both signed deals with TNA, I guess it never worked out.
