Ok, the past couple of weeks there has been a dispute in the shoutbox over which sport is more dangerous. Well. Here is the discussion to keep the shoutbox clean. And to finally solve this. There has been such talk as to when the last football player died and when the last baseball player died. Well the argument stands like this.

A first base coach died a while back because he got hit in the throat with a foul ball and killed him. Well, this wasnt a player. So this is why its more dangerous to coach baseball then it is football. But thats not the point here, I am going to list injuries that would be devastating in each sport. Then you vote on which sport is the most dangerous.

First Baseball
Blown Elbow
Blown Knee
Shattered Orbital
Concussion
100+ MPH Fastball to the Knee.
140 MPH Baseball to the face off a bat.
Baseball to the throat.
Broken bat impaling
Broken bat slicing of the face.

There are however multiple others. But that is a long enough list for now. Because I know a football injury that I said in the shoutbox, but I just want to know some other opinions than those that were initially involved with this in the shoutbox. And I believe I am only going to need one injury to convince you guys of my argument.

Now for football.
Ok, Having your ballsack stepped on by a 350 lb Lineman with dirt cleats on. To have to then ice your sack for days with balls the size of watermelons. Then to have one swell so much that it were to actually fail and burst per say. To be in the most intense pain to the most sensitive part of the male body. Then to have to be rushed to the hospital in this pain to have an emergency surgery to remove the burst ball. Then having to ice your sack for days on end again recovering from surgery with one nut.

Well, what do you guys think of that. Dont tell me it cant happen. It happened to one of my friends in football. I dont actually remember if he had on a cup, but i dont think a cup is going to save his junk from 350 lbs straight to the dirt. Thats literally busting a nut boys.

So, that being said, what sport, out of these two, do you consider the most dangerous?

Lol...you just gave all the guys here nightmares. I think that would have like an extremely low chance of happening very often. And in any case, Im a girl, and I will say baseball. Ive had the broken nose and cracked orbital and that was pretty bad imo.

Football of course. If the baseball players go through the beating that the footballers go through on a regular basis, their injuries is nothing. At most, wear a caged helmet and it'll solve all facial injuries

Football. But I think baseball is underrated when it comes to injury rate. Baseball is just one of those sports where injuries can kind of lurk without making themselves too obvious. Whereas football has some jacked linebacker ready to take your head off.
