Mick Foley was asked about rumors of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year during a Q&A with Pitch.com. Below is Foley's response.

It would mean that the rumors that I started spreading about it were effective. It would be a huge honor, especially in Madison Square Garden. WWE does a great job of trying to induct people in geographic areas that mean something to them. For me, being inducted in an arena that I specifically used to hitchhike to and take trains alone to would be a great honor.

Foley was also asked if he enjoyed doing comedy as much as he does wrestling.

Do I enjoy coming to Kansas City as much as I enjoyed winning the WWE title 14 years ago? Nothing's going to stack up to that. But I really enjoy it. I'll be cutting way back in 2013 on the number of dates I do. I believe KC is the first show where I'm doing multiple dates. It's usually one and out. The idea of doing four here, that means that it's different. It's not the type of show that casual comedy fans wander into. So it's really going to take some participation from my wrestling audience to make these shows work.

Foley discusses other topics in the Q&A which can be read in its entirely here.

Would love to see him inducted, being inducted where he used to be a fan must be pretty dope indeed.

I'm trying to think of another superstar that has earned it more than him. Physically, the things that he put himself through, most likely, will never be matched. His buddy, Terry Funk, also did quite a bit of damage to his body for the buisness.

To me he does deserve it. I just wonder if he'll get it this year or not. Going to be curious to hear the announcements during the RTWM.

It always seems like when vince needs a guy that he can count on MIck. I really do expect him to be in, especially because it's in MSG like the report said. I'm assuming it would mean just a little more, since it's in his home area.

I really hope so. It'd be perfect timing as far as the location and all, like the report and you just mentioned. Hopefully they won't hold off on it. I know it'd be a huge honor for Foley.

Good deal. I'll remain optimistic that he'll get it then. :smug: I've just learned to not get my hopes up too much with WWE, lol.

I hope he does get inducted as he's put his body through a whole lot for the business. It'll be interesting to see whether he gets inducted or not.
