It’s been several months since Gesias "JZ" Cavalcante stepped foot in the cage, but it appears he’s finally return to return to action.
Cavalcante is expected to meet wrestling stand-out Justin Wilcox in a lightweight bout on the upcoming Strikeforce card on June 18 in Texas.
This will be Cavalcante's first fight since a highly disputed decision loss to Josh Thomson on October. Wilcox has been on fire of late, picking up six wins in a row (five under the Strikeforce banner). The winner of this bout could be in contention for Gilbert Melendez's Strikeforce lightweight title.Cavalcante is expected to meet wrestling stand-out Justin Wilcox in a lightweight bout on the upcoming Strikeforce card on June 18 in Texas.

Both men are making their Strikeforce debuts. High is on a four-fight winning streak since his loss to Charlie Brenneman in his only UFC fight, while Mulhern is on a seven-fight winning steak, all the fights taking place in King of the Cage where Mulhern is their reigning welterweight champion. It appears at the moment that this fight will take place on the undercard of the Challengers event.
Finally, Sherdog has news of Shinya Aoki's next opponent, pending a visa:
It appears Shinya Aoki is one step closer to having a definitive opponent for Dream 17 "Fight for Japan," as sources tell Sherdog.com that Antonio McKee has signed a contract to face the lightweight ace at the end of May.
Sherdog.com then spoke with a source close to McKee, who asserted that the IFL veteran had signed a contract Thursday to fight Aoki on May 29 at Saitama Super Arena Hall near Tokyo.
Though a source shared that the fighter has signed on the dotted line, he is still in the middle of acquiring a visa that will allow him to fight in Japan.
Former MFC lightweight champion McKee is coming off a loss to Jacob Volkmann in his only UFC fight, while Aoki is still flying high from his 93-second neck crank submission of Lyle Beerbohm at Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Daley last month.Though a source shared that the fighter has signed on the dotted line, he is still in the middle of acquiring a visa that will allow him to fight in Japan.
