WWE is of the belief Chad Gable will be staying. He’s getting the biggest push of his career right now and has become a real highlight of the Raw show. As noted, there were people in AEW pushing for him. FTR, who had some of their best matches with Gable & Jason Jordan years ago in the program that really made both teams in NXT, have always pushed for him in AEW, but he got a great offer to sign a new deal

It would be one thing if they just did a short-term deal through SummerSlam or something where they write him off and he puts over Otis, but to continue doing the Creed Bros & Ivy interactions in the background would indicate they've come an agreement.
