As far as AEW management goes it seems like the classic "HR is not there to protect you, it's there to protect the company" and their solution was to stop booking him for Collision to protect him from Punk is how I guess they'd justify it. Without mentioning not working Collision took away ROH for him which was where he actually had his dates

As far as HR goes the main issue for me is the ongoing trend (of that time) that issues are not handles and even made worse at times, which ironically is a thing Punk complained about. Ironic because his solution was to actively also be toxic lol
