[FIGHTFUL SELECT] Jake Something's contract with Impact Wrestling is up at the end of February

He's been losing a lot. Could see him going elsewhere. No idea if AEW would be interested but his wife is there. I feel like he could fit in WWE as well

He's a real talent but I don't see what he's able to do in Impact at the moment. The main event is set to involve Moose/Josh for the foreseeable future, the X Division is even MORE stacked than usual, and he's not got a tag partner now that Deaner went all backwoods Canadian cult on him

any ideas where he could fit? as much as id like him in aew i feel like hed be a bit lost and we already have lost guys like archer. obviously if they dont renew a few its not impossible i just dunno if he would be better off or not realistically

I'm not clamoring for him to be given a push despite being a fan so I'd be fine with him in AEW in the "lost in the shuffle role" myself that gets so much heat

Impact still the best fit tho tbh, NJPW Strong. MLW, NWA would all benefit from him as well. Not sure where I'd say his personal best fit would be for himself if he wants success tho

I mean it be fine for me lol, im just not sure he'd want the similar role he had in impact. i wouldn't complain either, and my partner would also be happy

If WWE wasn't already looking to go younger with talent then id suggest for him to go to NXT. Otherwise WWE would probably love his size and strength.

Jake has potential to do something more than what he has done in Impact so far but to me he is missing an actual character. He is missing things that would get people to care about him more. "Jake Something" and yelling "What's my name" isn't exactly compelling. It's like he is still developing and hasn't found something that works for him yet. I feel like Cameron Grimes was in that situation a little bit when he was in Impact.

Honestly, him freelancing and all would be interesting could see him show up at GCW, NPU, Beyond, Black Label Pro, New South Pro, Paradigm, H2O, AIW, AAW, Limitless, and so forth to name a couple companies that would be interesting to see him in.
