I think TNA has done a great job this year. All the ppv's away from the Impact Zone is a really a milestone. Joe as champ, the super friends, Jarrett's return. I think this a seminal year and will continue into the future. For all the complaints I hear I still see fans attending shows and loving what they see.

We're 2/3 of the way done, how do you guys feel about TNA this year?

I stopped watching Impact completely at around April this year. I know that Joe's champ and that's great, but I can't really enjoy watching Impact anymore, there's so many things that can be done better by anyone. The only thing I've been excited for was the World X Cup, the rest was just there.

As a TNA bashes myself, I will say it hasn't been that bad. It has sure been better than 2007, however it has been downgraded by Christian stuck in that tag team and not going for the belt, the whole Super Friends shit and the wasting of the Lethal/Dutt feud.

1. Sacrifice was in the iMPACT Zone.

2. Super Friends is good?

3. Jarrett hasn't even returned yet, at least to my knowledge.

I think it has been great so far. Their house shows are great this year as well, I was there last night and wow, amazing time!

Pretty good, better than last year imo. It hasn't been briilliant but some things have definately been top notch. TNA has really moved leaps and bounds with their tag team and knockout division, on the down side the x-division has become almost non-existent and I don't feel like Joe is carrying the belt very well.

I am not to thrilled with TNA this year. Mediocre at best.

Positives:
-Knockouts: Beautiful People blew up this year and Taylor Wilde showed she was better than Gail Kim.
-Samoa Joe as Champ...I guess that's good?
-They actually pulled their head out of their ass and did something with LAX, first time in years.
-THEY PUSHED AJ STYLESSSSSSS!!!!!
-Jarrett, finally

Negatives:
-Putting alot of emphasis on Kevin Nash, WTF
-Drawn out angles with Sting
-Robert Roode and James Storm tagging together
-THE ENTIRE LETHAL/DUTT DEBACLE
-I must admit it, underusing Christian Cage
-Consequences Creed
-Whatever they are doing with Kaz
-Superfriends
-Bogus ending to Victory Road

Need I go on? Neg's outweight Pos's

^^I agree, Neg's outweigh Pro's. Average at best, nothing spectacular so far.

On a semi related subject, 2008 has been an incredible year for WWE compared to 2007 imo

I meant the ppv's that have been on the road genius. You're the only one who lost his way.

Super Friends is funny. You don't like it...ok.

Jarrett's return is obviously inevitable. Did you even think about anythink before posting?

I think it's been an awesome year. Definitely better than 2007 by far. Sure, 2008 had it's bad times, but overall this has been a very good year for TNA imo. Samoa Joe became the TNA World Champion (FINALLY!!), AJ Styles and Kurt Angle tore the house down with 2 amazing matches and one very good feud, the World X Cup was awesome, we got to see another LAX tag team title run, the Motor City Machine Guns were pushed (earlier this year), Black Reign and Rellik were both fired, Sting turned heel, and Mick Foley might be on his way to TNA. Not to mention the great PPVs that we got to see, TNA Lockdown, Slammiversary, Victory Road, Hard Justice, Against All Odds, Final Resolution, and even Sacrifice.

So yea, I liked this year's TNA product. I hope they keep this up in 2009

I feel that TNA has improved since last year but 2005/2006 were much better then this year. It hasn't all been bad this year but their were ALOT more bad things then good things. Usually I watch Ipact or TNA PPVs because they tend to put on great matches rather then have good storylines but this year there were WAY to much faulty endings to matches (mostly Main Events). They were alot of interuptions during each big match which really ruined it and then X-Division has been getting worse as there hardly was one this year (except for the X-Cup which was the best thing this year). They have pushed superstars well this year with Matt Morgan, Kaz, Tomko (for a while), and Creed is coming along nicely. Many of this year storylines were bad this year, pretty much all of them are old and boring and when you have feuds like that and top it off with a bad match ending isn't very good. So thats most things from this year so far, it could have been alot better but it was an improvement from last year!
