Special agent spokesperson Jerri Williams for the FBI’s Philadelphia office said “The ‘federal agent’ (referenced on the WWE.com Web site) is definitely not the FBI. We have not been made aware of any car bombings. … We would definitely have been informed.” With all the media outlets reporting this as legit WWE is going to have some severe backlash for pulling such a stunt.
The McMahon family is scheduled to release a “statement” on WWE.com concerning Vince’s death sometime today.
