Just as the title of the thread states, where is your favorite Vacation spot and why makes you like this spot so much?

For me, my favorite Spot is Jekyll Island, off of the coast of Georgia. It is a decent location for swimming, but there are several other activities you can do while you are there. One of my favorite is riding my bike along the bike trails (not as fun as the mountain trains in Rabun, GA and Cherokee, NC but still fun none the less) and looking at the scenery. I can honestly spend an entire day biking around the island, but I’m usually with a group and they’re not as into it (or as in shape) as I am.

Also, you can go Kayaking along the River and the Marshes of the coast which is really fun. There is also boating tours around the Island if you like that sort of thing too. My girlfriend and I like going to the Sea Turtle Aquarium and the Dolphin Tours when we get to go.

Anyway, there is my favorite spot, so does anyone care to share there favorite spots?

When you live in an Island... you can go from coast to coast in one day... so there isn't much of a Vacation Spot. The closest thing to it is Culebra or Vieques Islands... just off the East Coast they are part of Puerto Rico and in Culebra's case has one of the best beaches in the world (certified by a number of magazines). So that must be it.
