The F1 Climaxxx 2022.

As you can see from the recently posted schedule, a lot of the fall/winter schedule features matches in the F1 Climaxxx. This will be a twelve-person, G1-style tournament, with the winner receiving a shot at the FWA World Championship at The Grand March.

The tournament will be divided into two pools of six. The round robin stages will take place in the five episodes of Fallout and Meltdown that occur between Lights Out and the January PPV. The finals will be at said January PPV.

Participation in this tournament will be voluntary, in that staff will reach out to you before announcing the pools to ask if you want to be in the tournament. We will prioritise the order of selection as follows:
- Champions in the FWA will be invited to the tournament first. This is the FWA World Champion, the FWA World Tag Team Champions, the FWA X Champion, the FWA North American Champion, and the FWA Television Champion.
- If all six champions were to agree to participate, this leaves six slots. The grade averages between the Anniversary Show and Lights Out (inclusive of those shows) will be used, with the top six non-Champions listed being invited to participate. As always, two promos must have been counted in that time for a character to be considered. No shows counted as a zero.
- A maximum of one character per handler can enter the tournament. With the grade averages, it will be the character highest in the averages for that handler that will be invited. No swapsies (unless a handler has two characters that are eligible going by list of priority, in which case they can choose which one they wish to enter, if any).

After these twelve people have got back to the mods, we will then fill up remaining slots from the next characters in the grade average rankings for the above time frame (if the handlers want in).

If the FWA World Champion should win the F1 Climaxxx, they can pick their next challenger at The Grand March. They are, of course, under no obligation to enter.

A point on champions entering. This would be a long engagement, and so you would be expected to defend your title at least once on the shows from Meltdown XXI to Fallout 025. This would mean double duty and two promos in a cycle. So, you'd defend your belt on Meltdown XXIII, maybe, and then have your F1 match on Fallout 023. We would listen to when it would be best for you to do this double booking. Please consider that the window for Fallout and Meltdown promos will at this stage be the same, but you will be allowed to get an extension for the Fallout promo only (with the usual rules for that).

New members will just about have enough time to secure qualification, if they wish to do so, so long as they submit promos for the two remaining cycles (Fallout 020/Meltdown XX and Lights Out).

Venues for next sixteen FWA shows announced alongside format for F1 Climaxxx.
by Shake Meltzer. PWOutsiser.
Thursday 8th September, 2022. 13:04.

The FWA has announced their touring plan for the remainder of 2022, and fans in Europe will be particularly pleased to hear that the organisation is planning to return to the continent for a lengthy series of shows that will comprise the entirety of the F1 Climaxxx tournament. Details on that tournament have been scarce since its announcement last week, though the format is now clearer following the FWA's press release this morning.

Before we get to the F1, though, the FWA will continue its tour of the South of the USA, following on from the pair of California shows scheduled for this week. The promotion will continue on to Las Vegas, Nevada for Meltdown XX and Austin, Texas for Fallout 020, before finishing up this American tour with Lights Out in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Continuing with the trend of homecomings, this tour of five shows will see hometown support for Alyster Black, Jason Randall, Kayden Knox, and eventually Devin Golden, who will hope to turn this to his advantage in the Golden Opportunity match. There is also a spiritual homecoming for a former tag team champion along the way…

Fallout and Meltdown will then return to Europe for a lengthy tour, with an additional show added in-between the conclusion of the F1 Climaxxx's pool stages and the finals night in the as yet unnamed Winter PPV. This show, entitled 'Fight Night: The Final Four', will host semi-final matches, with the winners and runners up vying for a place at the pay-per-view's final match-up. Sources within the FWA have confirmed to me that this additional show came as a result of threats of collective action regarding original plans to have the semi-finals and finals occur on one night, which confirms rumours that a specific clause present in Fallout contracts regarding unionisation may have been relaxed.

The European tour will take on a unique complexion, with all of the stops upon it situated along one long river-cruise from London to Athens. The FWA will make use of the English Channel, the Rhine River, the Main Canal, the Danube, and finally the Black and Aegean Seas as the organisation snakes its way across the continent. Cruise packages are already being marketed by the company, targeting both European partiers and a higher class wrestling fan. Full details on the upcoming slew of shows and their venues are below:

Thursday 29th September, 2022 - Meltdown XX - live from Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Connection hold their spots at the top from the previous update, but there’s a lot of change below them as a big chunk of characters become eligible for contention after posting their second promos of the qualification window. Whilst the scores themselves are not posted here, I can say that there is still a lot to play for heading into Lights Out given how close things stand.

FWA star on 'hiatus', another leaves European tour; major changes announced to F1 Climaxxx structure.
By Shake Meltzer.
22nd November, 2022. 12:19 EST.

In what turned out to be a surprisingly important press announcement held in Rotterdam earlier today, the FWA confirmed large changes to the ongoing F1 tournament, despite the fact that the competition got underway two weeks ago in London and Christiana. It appears that two more FWA competitors in Pool A are bowing out of the Climaxxx, leaving Jon Russnow and Jean-Luc Watkins scrambling for an audible earlier this week.

We heard rumblings that Mike Parr did not travel on with his Executive Excellence comrades to the Netherlands last week. One within the company was quoted to have said the Prodigy had 'lost his smile', whilst another suggested Parr was expected to fly to Qatar to attend the ongoing FIFA World Cup. Both rumours are currently unconfirmed, and it is unknown whether Parr will be in Rotterdam or Koln later in the week. What is confirmed, though, is that Parr has withdrawn from the F1 Climaxxx tournament, and won't be facing old rival Michelle von Horrowitz on Saturday night. Reaction on reasons for this is scarce to find, but it is understood that a replacement for Parr has been put in place. This wrestler will inherit the Prodigy's 0-1 record and face MvH in Germany on Fallout 025, but the company is remaining tight-lipped as to who this replacement is.

Furthermore, the FWA announced that Cornelius Aurelius Caesar has left the European tour, and will not continue in the F1 or towards Athens. Again, the company remained tight-lipped as to why Caesar has withdrawn from the tournament, but one source within the federation - who wished to remain anonymous - had the following to say:

"I'm telling you bro, he's gone to find the oaf. If Caesar isn't off somewhere hunting for that gigantic dolt he calls a tag team partner, then my name's not Joe Burr."

Unlike with Mike Parr, as well as Danny Toner last week, we understand that Caesar is not to be replaced in Pool A. This means that only five wrestlers will compete in that pool for the two qualification spots for 'Fight Night: The Final Four'. This WCNetwork special, live from Athens, will feature semi-final matches for the F1, and is currently scheduled to be the FWA's final stop on this European tour.

It was also confirmed that the scheduled match-up between Tommy Bedlam and Cornelius Aurelius Caesar for Koln is now canceled, and Michelle von Horrowitz' two points for defeating the Roman last week have been revoked.

More, undoubtedly, to follow.
