Sandman walks warily down the street,
With the brim pulled way down low
Aint no sound but the sound of his feet,
Machine guns ready to go
Are you ready, are you ready for this
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat

Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, Im gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust

How do you think Im going to get along,
Without you, when youre gone
You took me for everything that I had,
And kicked me out on my own

Are you happy, are you satisfied
How long can you stand the heat
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat

Chorus

Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
There are plenty of ways you can hurt a man
And bring him to the ground
You can beat him
You can cheat him
You can treat him bad and leave him
When hes down
But Im ready, yes Im ready for you
Im standing on my own two feet
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
Repeating the sound of the beat

Great One

Lol... kind of saw it coming. I assume it was because of that terrible botch and he somehow injured himself god knows how... probably because he was ridiculously out of shape and/or doesn't stretch at all since he sprained his ankle or something just RUNNING to the turnbuckle... kinda sad. But oh well.

I could have seen Sandman making an IC title run eventually

this sucks a hell of alot, but he was never going to be a WWE superstar.
He was always gonna be the ECW Sandman, who smoked, drank and was glorified stunt man with a niche.

Dammit I liked The Sandman

TBH he surprised me during his Raw stint! He was quite entertaining, & I Could've seen him as a Heat Player for a little longer!

IMO I still think ECW could've done with another veteran guy to help with the development. But i guess there phasing the old out so sending him back wouldn't have made much sence! Just wonder if he has any money left after his final spell of wrestling!

World Wrestling Entertainment released former ECW World champion The Sandman today. Internally within the company, the release had been expected over the last 24 hours.

Sandman was hired by the company in June 2006 when they re-launched the ECW letters as a third WWE brand. After floating around the top of the ECW brand as a popular babyface, complete with a toned down version of his famous entrance, he was drafted to Raw several months back. He had most recently been seen last night against Santino Marella.

We'll have more on this later on PWInsider.com.

meh, he really was a bad wroker but did get a decent pop
