Is it feasible to market this product in the Middle East? The cities in particular Riyadh, Jeddah, Muscat, Doha, Bahrain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Karachi.

It's called an eWaiter Software which is supposed to be a Hand Held Wireless Waiter Order Terminal. Here are some details from my dad:
eWaiter is a unique hand held ordering system designed specifically for the restaurants, bars & cafes. With over 100+ installations in Singapore, Thailand & Malaysia, eWaiter is a tried and tested solution.

How does eWaiter work?

Taking The Order
The customers order is taken at the table using eWaiter. The waiter is prompted to enter the appropriate cooking instructions and side orders. The order can be reviewed and amended before it is sent.

Sending The Order
The order is sent only when it has been confirmed by the waiter. The food and drink items are sent to the appropriate kitchen and bar printers. The customers bill held on the master POS terminal is also updated.

Printing The Order
The printed order docket records important information such as the waiters name, time of order, table number, seat number and covers as well as the ordered items and cooking instructions. If the printer should fail, the order can automatically be redirected to a backup printer.

Delivering The Order
Now the meal is ready and runner take the order to the table. During this time the waiter has not moved from the service area, continuing to serve additional customers.

Paying The Bill
When the customer has finished their meal and asks for the bill, the waiter can print the bill via the eWaiter terminal which will print out at the bill printer attached to the POS terminal. The payment for the bill is made at the POS terminal. Alternatively, you may wish to adopt a pouch system wherby the bill is finalised on the eWaiter at the table.

Why would anyone want a piece of shit keyboard? Anyways, it's exactly the same as what wait staff does now except it's not hand-written. Honestly, having a programmed menu when you're ordering food is dumb unless it provides for every change necessary, then finding it in the program could take longer than writing it down. Not saying it's a bad idea as it would certainly be more organized. I just think that the limitations and the price aren't worth it. it doesn't really say, but I'm assuming this software would be on some type of PDAs or cell phone (since dragging a laptop around would be Blue) thus indirectly jacking up the price even more. Not worth it.
