Killing someone for drawing something seems to be perfectly reasonable.

But killing, maiming, rioting, destroying, pillaging and burning entire villages and cities and people because someone draws a picture of your prophet IS extremism. You can't defend those actions with a straight face when extremists want to kill everyone in the world who draws a picture.
