Did you ever stand next to Andre? i was lucky enuff to when i was a little kid a couple of times He seemed like a Real Life Giant come to life out of a story book to a little kid

He passed away in 1993.. We're not that old around here..

Most on here were probably little babies or not even born yet when Andre was around..

I would have loved to have met Andre and I was 18 years old when he passed away. Unfortunately, I was never that fortunate.

I was but Ima old fart (40). Even then it was towards the end of his run after WM III, IIRC WM IV was the 1st one I watched. Started watching in 1988 but it was 6 or 9 months out of date. Summer Slam, Survivor Series and Royal Rumble were new. I liked The Rockers, Demoliyion, Jake the Snake, Macho Man and Ultimate Warrior. Even Brutus the Barber Beefcake was over.
