Evan Bourne Not Returning Anytime Soon

Recently suspended Evan Bourne will not be returning anytime soon despite his second Wellness Policy suspension coming to an end due to an injury to his foot which occurred on Monday. Bourne explained on twitter: "I hate to throw out bad news but I must. I was in an accident Monday and mangled my foot. Sorry to delay the comeback, I'm down but not out! ... Broken in 4 spots, dislocated in 5! Ouch! I wish I was back in the ring already."

Wow, so many set backs and it just seems like he doesn't want to return anytime soon.. I won't be surprised if he violates his third strike in the future.

Hope his recovery goes well though. Looks painful.

I don't know the details of his accident but once again it sucks to be Evan. The only thing more heartbreaking I can think of if it was an in-ring botch (was it? Evan makes it out like it was a motor vehicle incident).

I have to admit, I'll have a lot of respect for Evan if he can bounce back from all this and be optimistic.

He was injured while on suspension for a Wellness violation that he committed a week after his last violation he's lucky he wasn't fired then.

In November on the 1st he had his first suspension which was for 30 days and it was for smoking synthetic weed (spice). He was then suspended again for 60 days on January 17 for failing another wellness test but it's not been said what for, it was something other than weed though. So those days passed and now he is injured as said in the OP.

So he has two strikes for failing two wellness tests, if he fails once more he'll be released.

Well then he just needs to smarten up. If they test you, dont do drugs, simple as that. synthetic or not, use your common sense.

Last time Bourne suffered a significant injury on WWECW I had a gif in my sig for weeks. It's too bad I can't see how he got seriously injured this time. I'm really not a fan of this spot monkey and I wish he would return to the Indies where at least he can thrive. So in the time being, I'll leave you all with this.

Yep after three strikes its bye bye WWE for a year before you can be hired back. Even then you come back with two strikes. Book got two strikes.
