I caught this little blurb over at the Wrestling Observer website. Nick Dinsmore (Eugene, for those who might not know) was speaking to one of those wrestling radio shows...

The topic of TNA was brought up, and Nick feels that TNA is "biased towards talent itself," and not towards hiring former WWE employees just for that sake. He said he would love to have the opportunity to work for them. On the flip-side of things, Nick said he would really like to work for Ring Of Honor, and have some bouts with "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson. "U-Gene" does not fit in ROH, but Nick Dinsmore does.

Granted, Dinsmore was saddled with a ridiculous character and has some personal demons, but he was considered one of the brighter prospects coming out of OVW. By all accounts, he is a skilled wrestler.

Would you accept Dinsmore in ROH?

I actually heard he was at the Ring of Honor show on 9-14 BUT i did not see him there, therefore i didnt mention anything about it. One of the staff/crew said he might be a special guest ref, but he never appeared on screen.

Thoughts? Good/Bad?

I doubt he would face Danielson right off the bat. I'm pretty sure Eugene/dinsmore would start at mid card.

I think he would fit pretty good in ROH to be honest. I wouldnt at all mind seeing him in TNA, but if it was with the Blue gimmick, then no. I have seen a few vids of Dinsmore in WCW a while back, and he is pretty solid. He does have a good upside. He just needs to be utilzed correctly

I'm guessing he'll go back to Memphis. The town that originated him! My hometown!

and we all know that they've never done that before....but I can tell you that it would be pretty good for him to run in ROH or TNA
