You’re meant to buy tickets and see the “matches.”

If Allie is killed on Impact and then shows up on Dynamite, it kills your suspension of disbelief.

It’s also just seriously tacky af. It’s not needed.

I guess I just don’t take it as serious then. It’s tacky sure, but it is what it is. Plenty of worse stuff in wrestling. I got laughs out of it and enjoyed it.

I mean let’s face it, they present themselves as a “sport.” But have had some pretty unrealistic shit forever now. I mean look at stuff that’s happened to Undertaker or Kane, or just things they done to people. People being dropped from great heights only to come back pretty much unharmed.

Yeah I liked it and it saddens me he didn't like the finished product. I mean as much as he says he didn't have control he could of just said if you guys respect me enough I don't want to do the Karate Man gimmick. I rather have my final Match vs Alexander vs what he was given Alexander that is. I say that and then I see what Impact did last night having Alexander losing to Myers which he has no business in doing then I start to wonder who is telling the truth. Truthfully between the death of Allie, Bravo's Murder it won't be the last time Impact dips their toes in this.

The Karate Man videos he made himself fucking sucked to me, so this whole post means nothing to me. People are entitled to feel how they feel, but I think if I was him, I'd just be grateful they even went along with this Karate Man shit on their PPV, because they certainly weren't obligated to do that.

Well according to the post he didn't even want the Karate Man character to be in Impact but they wanted him to do it on his way out I guess lol so yeah I feel for him more if that's actually the case at least

Yeah, sounds like they first forced him to do and then lied to him about how the segment would be presented.

Ah, fair enough then.

I can feel where he's coming from in that case. Still, not too fussed personally because the character was never good to me. If he thinks they really destroyed the character on that level, hopefully he takes a page out of the Matt Hardy playbook and invents something new or tweaks Karate Man to evolve with these new developments.

Definitely a shame to have Ethan leave on these terms but shit happens.

Shame he leaving pissed, guess if he flops in the WWE he won't be coming back to Impact. Shame. Of course, observers tell a different story. Fightful has it that he refused to put over Josh Alexander on his way out (because it would hurt their bookings as a tag team??? Why???) and Page's original plan for the Karate Man vignette was "epic on the level of Final Deletion" (dude, you're not Matt Hardy) and so self-serving that it would essentially act as an ad for Page for future employers. This is all on him.
