Jason High wasn't without a fight for long, as he has been tabbed to face Erick Silva at UFC On FUEL TV: Nogueira Vs. Werdum. High replaces John Hathaway, who was forced out for undisclosed reasons.
High announced the fight on Twitter, though, officials have yet to confirm it. He was originally set to meet Ildemar Alcantara on the same card.
High (16-3) lost his Octagon debut to Charlie Brenneman in 2010. He was released and has won seven straight since, including three wins in Strikeforce.
Silva (14-3) sports a 2-2 UFC record that includes a recent loss to Jon Fitch.
