Yeah Akala definitely speaks a clearer message than most grime/rap artists currently knocking about. Reminds me a little of Immortal Technique, minus the constant whining that Tech sometimes does.

His stuff for SB.TV is also worth a check.

He won't get very far though, his words are too true. Unless he switches up and starts making songs that the ignorant masses can relate to, he'll remain underground. Which is fine, I can agree, but you can't cash in underground reputation at the bank.

Definitely, he reminds me of Lowkey. I've seen his stuff on there too, he's a very intelligent man to be honest. He's made multiple appearances in universities proving how hip-hop is similar to Shakespear and stuff like that.
