So, we are coming up to that time again. Who deserves to be in the Main Event scene after Wrestlemania? You can't say who deserves to be there now because leading up to Mania, they probably already know who they want to push.

The current Main Event scene for Smackdown is Edge, Jeff Hardy, Triple H, Taker and arguably Kozlov.

Hmmm.... Not that impressive tbh. IMO, MVP, Kennedy and Umaga can get there if they are pushed well enough.

What about Raw? Batista, Jericho, JBL (depending what storyline he is in), Cena, Orton and HBK (same thing as JBL)

Compare the rosters. Fair? No. Smackdown has four pretty strong guys, fair play, but Raw has Batista and Cena, the two biggest guys in the 2004-2007 era. Two of Three (the other being Edge) if the biggest heels of the Current Era, JBL, a guy who can get impressive heat when he wants to, and HBK, a legend and future inducted to the hall of fame. :smh Anyhoo, who deserves to be there? Well, in a couple years Dibiase and Rhodes will be there. Punk deserves to be there now. Kingston can get in if they push him well enough and finally, Kane is in there when he is in a big storyline.

ECW? Matt Hardy and Mark Henry.

Great! Miz and Morrison are on all three brands, or may as well be, so they can't physically Main Event. Chavo can Main Event, but most of the time, jsut gets lost in the shuffle. Finlay, meh! Too old. Don't make him Main Event if he is just about to retire. That rule excludes Taker and HBK though. Jack Swagger will be there soon, and Bourne can be when he gets back.

So what about you're thought?

Well i see the above as much healthier than you do, I guess...

SD is in much better shape than you give credit..... Considering your point about Cena & Batista both being on Raw, IMO, HHH & Hardy create a suitable counterbalance as the main faces (especially Hardy... He's probably the hottest thing in WWE right now). Plus, as you already pointed out, they have 3 guys that are merely a decent push away from the ME.

On a side note.... Kofi in the ME? Please, no.... Just NO.

SD's main event>Raw's main event

Because of Edge right?

As for the question I say have the same Main Event Scene as now except add CM Punk on Raw and add MVP, Mr Kennedy and Umaga on Smackdown, and add Evan Bourne, Jack Swagger, Chavo Guerrero, Finlay and Ricky Ortiz to ECW. Christian Cage will also be in there somewhere, most likely Smackdown.

SD's main event has been better then RAW's for about two years now.

SD's ME have fresh talent. Edge and Hardy are just the start, MVP still has yet to transition same with Umaga and Kennedy. RAW's ME have been the same and stale for awhile. Cena is still ruling, Orton still top heel, Shawn still pulling off great fueds (which is the fresh thing) but Shawn ain't gettin any younger. Right now it seems crowded with former champions (Batista, JBL, Jericho, Kane) who could be champion but the title always goes around between the same stars.

Mr. Kennedy would be a good choice IMO. would be amazing to see him in the ME title scene, which he should've been in awhile back if he didn't get injured. ECW Title= Jack Swagger. Jack is a great wrestler, and he should be champ by WM. Bourne seems like another good top star for ECW. As for Raw, Christian Cage ? If he does come, Raw could be interesting. I wouldn't be so sure with Kane, we've seen pushes that have all ended up in him just jobbing as usual. JBL for WHC would be cool for me, but most of you would hate that.

No, I just enjoy SD's main event better. I just like the brand as general a lot more.

On Raw, to me it just seems too repetitive. The same people have been main eventing Raw for a lot time. The only time I enjoyed Raw's main event was when CM Punk and Chris Jericho gave it a breath of fresh air. However, as soon as Cyber Sunday rolled along, I dont think Raw has been able to fully recover in it's main event. They are also lacking one true main event feud BTW, Batista vs Y2J went for only 4 weeks, Cena vs Y2J for 3 weeks. There hasnt been that feud that captures imagination.

On SD, there's a lot more balanced. On Raw, you know you have Cena, Orton and Batista as locks in the main events. I have no problem with that, but I do have a problem that eventually it gets old.

On SD, you have far more options, and unlike Raw (who also has options), they aren't afraid to give new people main event spots.
